I totally agree with this, i play kata mid and HG is a 3in1 item. Life, AP, and +10% dmg with mpen.

With Mpen boots + HG + masteries and runes : ~ -30 MR = true damage on squishy champ. Build a NLR after the two item give more damage from NLR.

I dont have any idea how any of 1v1 could happen. Maybe like a pokemon fight ? ^^ ( 4 comp, stats, etc) But even if you dont add the battle mode. 3D champ and animation still a awesome apk.

The Lightbringer is a joke .. The wriggle cost 2400 less and bring : 
+10 armor ; -2% lifestell ; -35 AD ; 25% chance to deal 400 more dmg ; A free ward ( grant vision for 1min .. )

Just take a BOTRK + wriggle is really better.

Ok, this item is better, but take it SECOND is useless. If enemy have 40MR ( second item is arround lvl 6 ) , with Runes, boots and HG you have 38 Flat Mpen. 
With a katarina for example, i prefer have more life than %Mpen.

BUT, rush this item ASAP 3rd or 4th seems legit.      ( Sorry for my english, i'm french )

Champion As ability has 200 Base damage + 0.8*Ap, he has 165 AP + 30 Mpen. how damage will he Deal to champion B who has 35 mres?
