    Irelia and Ahri.

Why is Ahri so good as firstpick?

Guess it has something to do with her being not good counterable, but why is that so? (I never play Ahri, but when i do, i miss all the charms...)

BTT, there are some champions you can pick early because they are either very safe or can go to different roles.

Examples are: Nunu, Jarvan, Shen, Kennen, Elise, Lux, Karthus, Caitlyn, Ezreal, Lulu, Sona

In the end, gameplay outmatches every "counter". That is a reason why main champions are often banned targeting certain players like Anivia on Froggen because they simply outplay every opponent, no matter what champ he plays.

No, it's because they don't want to have to use the champion that is a counter to them.  Teams that only play to lane lose.

Mid is harder to gank for everyone.  For just straight up running into their lane, make sure you come in from behind them, like right past their wraiths.  Other than that, if they go aggressive you can W onto minions.  Depending on your teammates positioning, you can possibly sit around the area between your wraiths and mid, and W to your teammate from the fog of war.  I'd say lee is pretty good at counterganking mid, you just need to develop a sense for when your midlaner is going to get ganked.

Atmas is a fantastic item on any champion that loves the stats on it.  The problem is, very few champions do.

Look at it as a crit item for bruisers.  Almost no bruiser wants crit.  The only two I can really think of off the top of my head, are Garen and Gangplank.

The item is actually extremely good on Garen.  Every other bruiser though, generally benefits more from building attack speed (or sunfire) over crit, because it's cheaper, and because you can only itemize for so much offense since you have defense cutting into your budget.  Therefore, even though Atmas is extremely gold efficient, it's really less efficient than other items on most champions.  Again, Garen itemizes for AD armor and crit so it's perfect for him, and sort of the same for GP.

I'd honestly say it has situational use on an AD carry.  It's still efficient late game even if you don't build HP.  The thing is, you generally only build one defensive item, and atmas doesn't really cut it with only 45 armor.

I would not build atmas on any champion, unless they scale better with crit than attack speed, because you can NOT itemize for Tanky, Attack damage, Attack Speed, and Crit.  If you want crit, you have to skimp somewhere as a top laner, because crit items are only good after you have attack speed items.

Oh, and most of the time, you want a Warden's Mail item at some point.  Most top laners will itemize for more armor than you.  This is the part where you stop building atmas, because you will be far better off with a randuins than an atmas.

Well i got your atention. I have realy good map averness. And about strenght of point and klick ability i am right. Dazzle stun have animation you  an flash and both with fiddles fear dont have anything build in except cc. I talk about skill that cannot be missed and is aoe dmg aoe slow and single target stun. I dont qq and i play against all released champions in a long time and i never qq. Not even once. For example God strenght of ZACS jungle ganks from half of the map work if you are skilled not if you point and klick. Ye there is counterplay when in lane and in tf. But that ability is a kill not an ultimate. And yes ward ward bla bla but if wards could prevent 100% of junglers ganks there would be no jungler. And yes she has counter champions but you dont always have opotrunity to counter. So this is not lissandra qq post it isthat her R SHOULD be like when you press kassadin R you see a place where it will hit so you cast R and the target that is closest to center is stunned example. That would rise skill cap for that champion an thus it would make oportunity to make a mistake which is reason i play lol and not some other game. Nidalee is interesting because if you skill shot realy good it is rewarding but its hard to master and lissandras point klick you are dead. I dont talk about perfect situation i talk about good plays and real and everyday new moments and positions. I woild like to hear some forum "daddy" to repost on this thread.

I think you fundamentally missunderstand Lissandra's as a champion. The stun on her ult isn't long and when she ults you you take no damage. This means that she just effectively burned her long cd ult for a 1.5 second stun and if you aren't killed in 1.5 seconds you can blink away. When you play her properly you need to make sure you don't waste your ult like this and use it when your team can follow up. What you are complaining about is something less likely to kill you then Fiddle Fear which has a longer duration and does the same thing - it doesn't do AOE damage but you're not having an issue with the damage I think because that is something you can blink out of and avoid. You don't just point and click for a kill and you're seriously exaggerating the 1.5 seconds of stun - you need to have allies who can follow up and effectively use that 1.5 seconds very well. It's defintiely not an insta-kill. And trust me warding effectively has shut down my roaming even as Kassadin-you can  counter play roaming if you ward and move as a team to catch roamers out.

Plenty of point and click easy champions in this game who are overly rewarding(*cough Akali*cough) but using Lissandra effectively requires good teamfighting skills and positioning at a very short range. Her even getting close enough to you to ult you is putting her at great risk.

The champion hasn't even been out for a week. Give it time to learn to counterplay her like every other champion. I'm sure once you've played against her more then a freaking week you'll figure out how to deal with her effectively and move on.

Are you retarded?  Her ult definitely damages you when she ults you, I have no idea why you would think that.

Everything on it khazix wants, and it's a gold efficient item.

It's not necessarily only good on poke champions (hecarim buys it), but that's the main usage of it.  For khazix, the dot is useless in a EWQ combo on someone, but it's strong when you're poking which khazix does a lot of.  I would buy it straight after tear.

Wards shouldn't be a problem anywhere but bot lane.  Warding the best way into top/mid lane makes it harder but not impossible.  No laner wards every single lane entrance.

Lane ganking doesn't only occur when your teammate baits a fight.  If your top laner pushes his lane, just come through the lane into the brush along the top of the map and camp until it pushes back.  Same thing for bot lane, except the lane brush is often warded.  Probably half my ganks are lane ganks.  I watched saint vicious jungle Ryze the other day (lol) and all he did was lane gank bot, recall after a kill, rush back into the lane brush before they warded it again, gank, recall, and then rushed right back into the lane until it didnt work anymore.  Lane ganks are the strongest ganks as long as minions and wards don't spot you

If you watch the map, you can often see where enemies ward, especially if your teammates warded already.

Don't play junglers that can't gank until 6 is the best way to deal with the "what do i do before im 6" problem.  Other than that you can only catch people out that really push their lane.  You could also try exhaust for ganks.

I also buy a ward every time i recall once I have boots and madreds.  Ward for your idiot teammates that don't ward, or ward the enemy jungle if your team is competent.

And personally I find it easier to carry from the jungle.  I'm only gold, but I feel like the jungler is the one that makes plays happen.  If you get your teammates ahead it doesn't matter if they're worse, they'll win just on gold/exp, as long as their jungler doesn't crush them (buy wards!).

Jungling is a support role, only you support every lane.  If my goal was to win, I'd never ever play a carry style jungler.  My damage doesn't matter at all.  Build locket and aegis and that's usually it before the games over.

Gaining more LP is irrelevant if the game is trying to force you into a 50/50 win record before you even reach the correct league.

The system doesn't do that.  All the matchmaking system does is try to predict the outcome of games, which is why you gain more points for beating higher ranked players, and lose more points for beating lower ranked players.

I agree that if you don't play much and are actually a higher elo it's kind of annoying to have to climb the ranks, but you aren't heavily disadvantaged at all.  I think it takes me 3 wins to clear a division to my promo because I gain so many points, and I don't really lose any when I lose.

And just like in chess, your MMR is already a "rank 9" equivalent.  Your league rank isn't progressing at the same speed as other "rank 1" players, you're tripling/quadrupling how fast they rank up because while your league is "rank 1", .  Over the course of several games your league will be caught up with your mmr, it makes perfect sense.  It's only in the case of you playing extremely few games that it looks weird.

The reason it has to be this way, is that your MMR doesn't reset, at least not very far, but it would be stupid to have a new season start where everyone is already where they were last season, which is why there is an MMR and a visible rating/league.
