Unoffical PBE Patch Notes for 1/3/2013

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind the following changes are datamined from the PBE game client, and may not reflect what is really live on the PBE
NOTE: A few items have been changed back from the last PBE patch to their now current live values. These changes are still listed as they are changes for the PBE.


 Champion Changes

Udyr

  • [Passive] - Monkey's Agility
    • Now also gives 4% Armor and Magic Resist
  •  [W] - Turtle Stance
    • Values have been restored to previous (live) values of 60/95/130/165/200 (Down from 60/100/140/180/220)

Item Changes

  • Archangel's Staff
    • Now grants +6 mana each time (up from +5)
    • (For each basic attack was removed from the tooltip)
  • Enchantment: Captain
    • Now grants nearby minions 20% movmemnet speed (down from 25%)
  • Iceborn Gauntlet
    • Tooltip has been reworded so that melee get 35% slow while Slow isreduced to 20% and the Area of the Field is reduced for ranged champions. [Change from last patch]
  • The Black Cleaver
    • Now reduces armor by 6.25% (down from 7.5%) [This is changed back from the last PBE patch]
  • The Lightbringer
    • UNIQUE Passive: Nearby stealthed enemy traps arerevealed.

Abilities

Udyr - [Passive] - Monkey's Agility

Entering a stance grants Udyr 10% Attack Speed for a short duration.This effect can stack up to 3 times.
Udyr - [Passive] - Monkey's Agility
Entering a stance grants Udyr 10% Attack Speed and 4% Armor and Magic Resist for a short duration.This effect can stack up to 3 times.
Udyr - [W] - Turtle Stance
Udyr - [W] - Turtle Stance
Persistent Effect: Udyr's attacks cannot crit,but he restores 10/12/14/16/18% of his damage as Health and 5/6/7/8/9% of his damage as Mana.

Activation:
Udyr gains a temporary shield that absorbs 60/100/140/180/220 (+0.5)damage.

55/50/45/40/35 Mana

Persistent Effect: Udyr's attacks cannot crit,but he restores 10/12/14/16/18% of his damage as Health and 5/6/7/8/9% of his damage as Mana.

    Surely you're joking about the Hecarim. He has so much CC and his W in teamfights makes him practically invincible and once you get your Iceborn Gauntlet, they can't afford to ignore you.

    Really wish they would stop working on new champions for like a month, and do some real work on the older champions. No one has any reason to play Annie, Brand, Fiora, Hecarim, Heimer, Karma, Nasus, Nautilus, Poppy, Rammus, Sejuani, Shyvana, Sion, Trynd, Udyr, Volibear, Viktor, Warwick, Wukong, Xerath, or Ziggs. All of those champions are HORRIBLY outclassed... And it's getting embarassing.

    However, they ARE working on a Karma and a Heimer rework, and there are rumours they're giving Viktor a 3rd tier upgrade on his rod thingy. Other champions simply have their strengths and are dependent upon certain game conditions, which makes them decent counter picks. 

    That being said, Sejuani is just kinda bad.

    FYI Rammus and Hecarim are ridiculous. Rammus is strong against AD heavy comps (which are popular at the moment) and has pretty good jungle.

    FYI the problem with Rammus atm is his early game, no one is questioning his power in teamfights once he's fed with items. Hecarim, to a lesser extent, suffers the very same problem.

    Rammus already got buffed a bit in S3 preseason to help his clear times, he just needs some additional tweaks.

    You forget but Sion is also receiving a rework very soon or atm.

    now i feel bad that i like to play Brand,susaN,Naut,poppy,sej,sion,Vik,and ziggs. only one that has a problem of this group is sion. only because identy crises(I play him ap with a hint of atk spd. but most people go ad balls toda walls) and poppy cuz her ult has no counterplay.

    Riot couldnt you just remove teemos R when in TT ???

    Who on the earth will ever step on a teemo shroom in their life again after they got that itemits not like shaco dominate on dominion

    new passive- ligtbringer now removes teemo's ability to use shrooms
    I think its so unfair for teemo that just because he exeed at something riot make a whole item to kill him

    Think of the bright side. Now Teemo can cry with Malzahar about being countered by an item.

    Not necessarily. IT may hurt him if he shrooms out of bush but kind of like how nidalee and Caitlyn put their traps at the entrance of bushes so people can't see them before they step on them. This is more like a way of controlling teemo's ability to pretty much shrooming the hell out of a map so that no one can walk anywhere with out helping but stepping on a shroom. Besides it's not like Lightbringer is a must have on every champion you're probably going to see many games where even though the enemy team has a teemo no body builds a Lightbringer anyway :/

    I'd say they need to do this with a lot of older characters. Giving them defensive boosts would really help them with all the penetration changes. That is If they did not benefit from the changes.

    I see many commenting on Teemo, but have you seen that AAS buff? it charges 50% faster than ToG now!

    Also why in the bloody hell would they nerf Captain boots, the most expensive ones known to Runeterra, on one of their least used stats?
