Polishing Touches Being Done To Next Champion - "She's a real doozy"
In fairness to Volty, he is busy putting the polishing touches on our next champion, and she's a real doozy. Don't take silence on his part as anything more than him being tied up for a while.
LCS Starts Tomorrow
Our friends over at Leaguepedia have been hard at work on exciting new content that will be coming out every week for the LCS. They have partnered with our very own E-Sports Editor Tuck to preview all of the North America matches on the docket for Week 1, and have already previewed the NA and EU scenes here. Expect the European match previews before the end of the week and here is just a taste of what you'll be able to find over on Leaguepedia:
Shushei’sDragonBorns are another newcomer that will be looking for validation. As with the Copenhagen Wolves, the DragonBorns had an electrifying journey through the qualifiers, but their true top tier ability has yet to be proven. How teams approach and handle the Wolves and GIANTS! in week one will give aAa and DragonBorns a good idea about how to prepare for week two. They may feel a little jilted since they were left out of the opening weekend lineup, but they can use this scheduling quirk to their advantage.
The first week of the EU LCS will set the tone for the season. Teams will quickly find their places as they exhibit their full capabilities. The fantasy leagues will begin, and LoL statistics will be crunched like never before. Teams will have access to long histories of matches against each of their competitors for the first time, and fans will be able to tap into a wealth of information. It is going to be groundbreaking. Here’s to Riot’s “Great Experiment”, of sorts; may our journey be as grand as our hopes.
You'll be able to find all their content in their brand new article section here!
Daily PBE Maintenance
Not much news here, but Riot has now confirmed that there will be daily PBE Maintenance. So keep your eyes on RoG for all the PBE changes right as they happen.
Summoners,
To try and fix as many bugs as possible, we will be doing daily maintenance's on PBE to test and assure we catch and fix as many bugs as possible before we deploy to the production environments.
We will be bringing the PBE offline in the mornings around 11:00 AM PST.

Posted 2/7/2013 5:43:24 AMI've heard Riot has banned 50 skins from LCS ( just look at the newest Lux skin, particles and AA are hardly to notice ).
Does that mean LoL is now pay2win?Becouse if Riot bans skins it means they give you a advantage over other players.

Posted 2/7/2013 10:15:01 AMSteel legion Lux' Q is indeed harder to notice. Same goes for Huntress Sivir's boomerang and Justicar Syndra's orbs. Blackthorn Morgana also has way too big spell effects. Eternum Nocturne's sound on ult is waaay too loud and Crab-got's ult animation harder to see.
There are more offenders than you'd think ;)
