Lissandra Appearing in "Recommended Items"

Yesterday in air patch 0.0.1.14 a new RecommendindItem.swf appeared. In this "Lissandra" appeared in the files. However this would not be the first time something like this would happen. What is more interesting, is that in this patch that is just now hitting the PBE, She is -still- in the files, along with another file added to her name. Though this could still be an error. it seems even less like it.

I like Nid's human form, but that cougar form... It's so ugly :( And it doesn't look like a cougar in any way. I like how majestic and gracile she looks as a cougar, of course you need to put that headhunter theme in there somehow, but that would work with a sneaky black cat too. You don't need to make her a dog for that...

  • #21 Crayonsnacha

First off, that's not even close to a dog.  If anything, it resembles a saber tooth.  Which is a cat.  And her cougar form looks better than human form.

    thats true

  • #13 SpiffmeisterZ

So... Nidalee... Heart of the Swarm is coming out and she looks like Kerrigan throwing Spidermines everywhere. Please tell me I'm not the only one seeing it.

  • #14 NomNao

I had the same thought as well! And the traps look particularly similar to spider mines.

you're definatelly not the only one seeing it the wrong way
This skin is made after http://avp.wikia.com/wiki/Machiko_Noguchi who uses the same type of traps, same haircut, has a similar symbol on the forehead and a similar clothing

It's sad to me that people only make the connections with the most popular games/movies

  • #17 SpiffmeisterZ

Not everyone knows of everything. I made the connection simply due to the timing and that I like and know StarCraft.

Not everyone knows of everything out there, hence references being made to 'the most popular' as that would be, by definition, what most people know of. No reason to sound condescending. :)

The blueish tint of the clothing and the hair being worn as it is reminded me a lot of the model of HotS Kerrigan as I had just seen it watching IEM.

Also, it's well known that Blizzard pays out ridiculous sums of money due to how much intellectual property they ripped off, so in referencing one thing from them, who knows HOW many other things one is also referencing.

They don't pay out a dime. WTF are you talking about? It's 100% legal to have parodies of IPs which Blizzard has in droves.

I'm sorry if my comment above was written in a bit ignorant manner, I only meant to inform whoever's reading about the real origin :) (bad days uknow :s)

I realize that everyone connects it with the most recent / popular thing when it's not officially announced and yes, it is to an extent similar to kerrigan's appearance (which blizzard took ofcourse from the abovementioned character :p)

Pretty sure it wasn't meant as insulting, just informative. Secondly, if it was, so be it. Blizzard gets away with idea theft constantly, and when stuff they RIPPED OFF gets notice, the finger is pointed the wrong way. (I take personal offense to this, since I'm a Warhammer and Warhammer 40k fan)

Oh yeah, Taric has the highest winrate in game! Let's buff him more!
    Riot logic.

  • #9 Malurth

Yeah dude. Not like Taric's stun is a flat 1.5 on Live and they're buffing his hugely nerfed form on the PBE by a tenth of a second on his stun.

  • #10 FatsXL

You missed the other nerfs in the previous PBE patch.

  • #11 ToastedTomatoes

Try to remember in the future that these updates are relative to previous pbe updates, not live.

  • #12 SWFreohr

I don't like people who don't even read the previous PBE patch notes and make retarded comments like these.
