Nasus Siphoning Strike Damage Counter

A new counter on Nasus is visible to enemies and allies alike showing how many Siphoning Strike stacks he has achieved. Riot had a post about this a few weeks back.

Although it's nice to have this I am a bit worried about the enemy having this information. I like to stack up my Q without them knowing how much I have and then when they go for an exchange, BAM! 700 damage!

It can be actually a nerf if your opponents can see it as well.

    I Will Like It :-)

Is this on Veigar and Sion as well =3

  • #7 KingOfThe23Stars

No :-) Only For Nasus At This Time

I'm not really sure what they are trying to accomplish with the change. It's really not hard at all over the course of the game to see if the enemy Nasus has been getting his farm on or not. To know the exact number I don't see benefitting anyone except the rainmen out there whom will calculate the strength of his Q on the fly and decide if he's a threat at their current gear/level.

And if you're Nasus you just look at the tooltip. There's no point where you just stop. You farm whenever you can, at any stage of the game except where you have an opportunity to kill.

Nasus' farm does not = his Q farm though. Even if a Nasus had 300 farm, he might have only got 150 of that farm with Q. This just clarifies. If you ever "don't understand" a change, think about it from all angles. Its a minor and simple change for a minor and simple reason. Probably took an hour to rehash some other counter code to fit Nasus' Q. Quality of life.

For the casters in LCS most likely.

actually, IIRC, the rioter that worked on this (don't remember who at this point :P) said that they wanted to make it easier for Nasus' allies to gauge how much damage Nasus will bring to the fight, with the side effect of also giving his enemies a heads up.

It's more for spectators so the castors don't have to specifically mouse over or tell the crowd.
