Sivir

  • Base Damage: 52 (+3 per level) (Up from 51.9(+2.9 per level)
  • On the Hunt [ R ] - Passive: Sivir gains 40/60/80% Attack Speed while Ricochet is active.
  • On the Hunt [ R ] - Active: Sivir rallies her allies for 6 seconds, granting all nearby allies an initial 60% Movement Speed bonus that reduces to 20% after 3 seconds.
  • On the Hunt [ R ] - Now costs 0 (Down from 100 Mana)
  • On the Hunt [ R ] - Cooldown is now 80/70/60 (down from 100/90/80)
  • Ricochet [ W ]Sivir's next 3 basic attacks bounce to nearby targets, dealing 1*AD physical damage to the first target and physical damage to each subsequent target.
  • Ricochet [ W ] - Added to the tooltip: 'Only the first target is affected by on-hit effects. Each target may only be hit once by each Ricochet.'
  • Ricochet [ W ] - Cooldown is now 10/9/8/7/6 Seconds (Up from 7/6/5/4/3)
  • Spell Shield [ E ] - If an ability is blocked by the shield, Sivir regains 60/70/80/90/100 Mana (Down from 150 Mana)
  • Spell Shield [ E ] - Now costs 0 (Down from 75 Mana)

Aatrox

  • Blades of Torment [ E ] - Now deals 75/110/145/180/215 Damage (changed from 75/120/165/210/255)

Olaf

  • Undertow [ Q ] - Now slows for 2.5 seconds (up from 2)
  • Undertow [ Q ] - Minimum slow duration is now 1.5 seconds (Up from 1)
  • Undertow [ Q ] - Now costs 60 Mana (Changed from 55/60/65/70/75)
  • Vicious Strikes [ W ] - Now increases Attack Speed by 40/50/60/70/80 % (Up from 20/35/50/65/80 %)

Xerath

  • Arcanopulse [ Q ] - Now costs 80/90/100/110/120 Mana (Up from 70/80/90/100/110)
  • Arcanopulse [ Q ] - Cooldown is now 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 Seconds ( Up from 7/6.5/6/5.5/5)
  • Ascension [ R ] - Added to the tooltip: 'Stationary artillery mode that shoots four times before going on cooldown.'
  • Ascension [ R ] - No longer decreases damage taken
  • Ascension [ R ] - No longer says 'He cannot be moved by displacement effects,but they briefly stun him.'
  • Ascension [ R ] - Added: 'After Ascension ends, Xerath gains % movement speed for 2 seconds.'

When the people of Valoran speak of the ''Battle Mistress,'' there is only one woman to whom they refer.Combining unflinching bravery with prowess in combat and endless ambition,Sivir's reputation as a fortune hunter is only rivaled by her amassed wealth and acclaim. Faced with the revelation of her mysterious heritage, Sivir must now weigh her desire to follow her own path against the burden of a greater legacy.

Sivir grew up among the desert nomads of Shurima, mastering the art of tomb robbing and enjoying a life without strong ties to any one place. She excelled at the mercenary life, accumulating riches, followers and reputation with ease.As her fame spread beyond the desert sands, she caught the attention of wealthy patrons across all of Valoran. The most influential of these benefactors was Noxus High Command. Sivir served the whims of the brutal nation with little concern for consequence. Their partnership proved to be a profitable one until the Ionian conflict broke out. She chose to take no part in the messy invasion and severed her ties.

It was no surprise to Sivir when the Noxians next paid her a visit, but where she expected assassins, she instead received an offer. Cassiopeia, the daughter of one of Noxus's most influential families, claimed to have unearthed the location of ancient Shurima's greatest treasure.All that the noblewoman required was an experienced tomb robber as an escort.

The expedition proved to be more than Sivir and Cassiopeia bargained for.The ancient tomb held neither the treasure Cassiopeia had promised,nor the weapon she coveted. Despite Sivir's warnings, the Noxian flung open the door to the entombed vault, setting events in motion that would change not just Sivir's life, but all of Shurima forever.

Sivir Relaunch Heads to PBE

We've already been talking about Sivir and our plans to relaunch her; now that she's heading to PBE, we wanted to discuss some of the reasoning behind her changes.

Art and Visuals: As one of the earliest champions in the game, Sivir's visuals and effects didn't match the look and feel of newer champs. We've designed her silhouette around her weapon and improved fidelity and readability of Sivir in-game, giving her an aesthetic that matches the battle-hardened mercenary personality she's always had. New effects on her abilities emphasize the boomerang-like nature of her weapon, and should make playing Sivir feel more like dashing around the fight tossing ricocheting blades and whittling enemies down from unexpected angles.

Creative: When we revisited Sivir's lore in preparation for her relaunch, we identified a few mysteries we could explore. Our goals were to clearly identify her place in the world and deliver on the mercenary fantasy inherent in her story. Generic battle platitudes and lack of deep motivation previously made it difficult to become personally invested in her successes or failures. We've added new voice-over that ties in to her expanded lore and relationships. With more of her back story and a glimpse into her possible future revealed, players will have more opportunities to learn about Sivir.

Gameplay: Sivir has a unique feel among ranged marksmen. She's a powerful counter to spell-reliant champs and offers different skills for teamfights than many marksmen with her ultimate and passive. It was extremely important to us to ensure that any changes to her kit preserved her ability to split-push, initiate and counter-initiate while opening up new options for Sivir players. With that in mind, Boomerang Blade and Spell Shield still operate the same way, with some slight tweaks as we continue to test her. Ricochet can bounce to more enemies, although it cannot hit the same target twice. On the Hunt was redesigned to deliver a massive move speed boost, no longer have a cast time and we've reduced the cooldown.

We'll go into more detail about all of the ability changes once she's closer to going live, but we're excited to see how players on the PBE use her new kit. As always, we're looking for your feedback along with the testing that'll help us squash any pesky bugs.

Why is the AS boost for Ricochet tied to her ultimate?
This decision was made for several reasons - balance, power curve, and use case incentives. As a note, the AS boost was originally on Ricochet itself. I will admit it's a bit awkward that it exists on her R, but if you think of it more like artificial bonus Attack Speed per level, it starts to make sense.

We wanted to retain some kind of offensive incentive on her ultimate without forcing Sivir players to make un-optimal decisions about how they wanted to use the mobility part of it. So we ended up separating them into a passive and active.

This also helps us curve out her power better to reflect that of a carry. She still gains a lot of power once she hits the end game at level 16+ instead of power spiking crazily at mid-game level 9 or 13. This allows us to put a lot of power in the Attack Speed bonus while not making her OP.

Why does her Q still have an insanely high mana cost?
I wouldn't agree that it is insanely high, but it's certainly a significant amount. Her Q needs to have a significant cost if it is to remain a potential high burst-damage poke spell as well as a powerful wave clear tool.

We have reduced the Mana cost pressure across the kit by removing the costs off of Spell Shield and On The Hunt. So that should help in this department.

Have you thought about lowering how fast the damage is reduced on her Q down to like 10% per target instead of 20%?
We actually tested several different iterations of the spell. We ended up sticking with the Live iteration since with the new Ricochet, Sivir really doesn't have issues clearing creeps, and we want to make sure hitting clean-cut Boomerang Blades can remain difficult to execute but still meaningful and satisfying when it happens.

Also, I am still not seeing why she needs to be 500 range. She doesn't have anything like Quinn or Graves do to make up for her decreased range.
Sivir has access to several tools that other marksmen don't. Top-of-the-line wave clearing, a Spell Shield, and team-wide mobility utility. We chose to emphasize those strengths rather than homogenizing and making her more similar to other marksmen.

    Now lets see what went on here:

    - Q - exactly the same (damage, CD, mana) - Mmmm ok? since she doesn't use mana on ult and shield, I hope it will pick from those and become less mana hungry - NO CHANGE/BUFF

    - W - Becomes a 3 attack ricochet, dealing less damage individually and more damage overall - It would be ok IF they hadn't removed the skill's base AD. Now the skill is basically a ricochet toggle, that STILL deals less damage per bounce -> NERF

    - E - Now her shield costs nothing and refunds more per skill level - This is a good change, now if you fuck up her shield you wont get hit with -100 mana, so it became more forgiving and more rewarding, which was needed -> BUFF

    - R - Her ult gives a decaying speed boost, no longer gives AoE attack speed buff, last less time, has no cast time and costs no mana - Oh boy, did they mess up this one. With this change, Sivir lost all of her team fight presence and synergy. Her ult basically became a longer, but worse Shurelia's speed boost, feeling completely underwhelming for an ultimate: "Press R to become faster"- wait, shouldn't that be a normal skill?. Her Ricochet AS boost is completely inconsequential, since it ONLY works when she's using her ricochet. If it was and overall AS buff for Sivir, it would be a whole different matter. -> DEFINITIVELY A NERF

    Personally, I think Riot is really failing with their Visual Upgrades. First they make an Yi that was overpowered  (even though he's in a much better position right now). Then they made Garen, who lost most of his appeal and quirks (like the flip on Q, the giant sword on R and the occasional AA punch). And now they VU Sivir, while giving her an overall nerf. Sure, the E change was nice, but the damage loss on W and the huge utility loss on R doesn't compensate it AT ALL.

    Therefore, I honestly hope she get's the proper feedback on the PBE and gets properly buffed into viability (yes, cause these changes pushed her into old Olaf's tier)

    With the passive on her R she gets an 80% attackspeed buff every 6 seconds for 3 attacks.. where is that a nerf to the old w where she gets 1 auto with more dmg? like lol.. this is kinda like jayce w.. u use it and sivir gets insane attackspeed throwing 3 attacks at you that can crit your face lategame and bounce on ur allies.

    Her Q is the best spell in her live kid right now. Its okay. 

    E manacosts are gone which mean if you have no mana and no health left you can still block a skillshot while running and throw a q after. Good change.

    Her R has lower CD now and is more like an engage / positioning tool for her now. So what? Sivir gets 80% from her ult every 6 sec as a passive for her w. Thats way more then her live ultimate gives her and dude ..who in ur team needs as? the adc. Like seriously. You want to give your toplane renekton or jungle lee or ur sona support or ur ahri midlane some attack speed? hell yeah that has a big impact on your teamfighting..

    Attack speed teamwide buff was thing loved by other compositions. You could easily make comp that skyrocketed value of her ultimate, but would consist of less common picks. Now there is no such niche and "Sivir comp" would mean something really different.

    Her ult could still be of use for champions who need extra oomph in movespeed department and getting rid of cast animation and manacost is real nice for Sivir herself.

    You guys don't see, that Sivir has the lowest attack speed out of all carries on pbe. They nerfed it to 0.625 and she gains only 0.006 per level. That's lower than Jinx or Corki.

    She sucks, but Riot stated that they read the feedback. However, I don't think there'll be a new iteration until monday.

    Well, Annie gets 0.00787 per level, but she also starts at 0.579.

    So Annie is still lower.

    Jinx also has 0.625 +0.006 per level, so you have a point and it could not be intentional. :s

    I've never once considered her to be "over-powered". Compared to many ADC's I think she's a much lower-tier choice, and they made her a little more viable as an ADC.

    As someone who plays the Siv significantly more than any other champion, this is a huge bonerkill.

You mean only once you get a BF sword and a pickaxe? And even then after two waves clears you are manaless if you don't build a tear like i do? How about jinx who can clear a wave at level 3 with a fricken dorans blade with her bazooka thing. On the note of Jinx, who "unfortunately" doesn't have a spellshield with a cooldown that allowed you to use it only once in teamfights and if you burn it you're fucked, she has a slow and a 1.5 second root and INSANE mobility on kill/assist. Not to mention her ridiculous splash damage that can crit. Or how about corki's ult and escape or vayne having fucking true damage and a 2 second cooldown on a dash that makes her turn invisible AND a knockback THAT CAN BE USED AS A STUN. I'll take a fed vayne's ult over a sivir's shitty shurelyias-wannabe ult.

    Burst damage on her Q? Ok. No. Maybe at early levels when you have some damage and by some miracle you catch your opponent with it going in both directions, (which almost never happens unless they are retarded, and in which if you miss you just lost 1/4 of your mana), that's it. That's her burst. If you're against a Draven who's only ability you can block is his slow, how the fuck are you going to trade with him? On top of the bogus burst damage (i think they mean cait's headshot and ult), with this new toggle'd ricochet you won't be able to do the AA-W combo. So now where is any decent DPS coming from? Her teammates running in all at once with the diminishing over 6 seconds ms boost?
    How about instead of making SS cost 0 and give you shit mana back, how about now make using it cost half her fucking mana pool?

    And on a personal note, all the visuals look great. Except Pax. It looks exactly the same. And as a Pax Sivir owner. I'm fucking pissed.

    Fuck you riot. Let Sivir get to lvl 20 with the stupid new xerath.

    Why, why, WHY did they feel they had to NERF Sivir when they released the visual upgrade?! She was already one of the weakest and least-played ADCs out there, now she's COMPLETELY useless. Her ult has been nerfed to worthlessness and her Ricochet is almost useless- it doesn't even seem to give bonus damage when you use it and with its longer CD you can't even build Sivir as a Triforce ADC any more. This is fucking APPALLING!

    Also, am I the only one who thinks randomly shoehorning Cassiopeia into Sivir's lore is stupid and pointless? The story doesn't even GO anywhere!

    Finally, her new dance is absolutely awful. Short, boring, lame and unsexy.

    Not, not everything in LoL has to be sexualised. But Sivir is one of the things that SHOULD be.

    Besides, even if you DON'T take into account the fact that it's not sexy, it's STILL short, boring and lame. Ooh, watch her wave her arms a bit. Ooh, she does it again. Oh look, it's started looping after 5 seconds. It's like the dances they gave to the first prototype champions like Annie and Sion- except Sivir IS one of the first prototype champions and it's less creative and interesting than her CURRENT dance. They're not even TRYING.

    Her ult become perma boost to Ricochet. Actually I guess that her AS boost for team wasn't that needed - I prefer to see it on ADC more than on any other. Unless you have someone like Trynd in team.

    Ult with massive team speed boost, no cost and no cast time? Nice for chasing and killing targets, nice for escaping... It sounds very much Shurelia-like, not sure about it, but it might have some uses.

    As for Rico, I'm not saying anything - didn't use it, didn't see it, don't know how good can that be.

    And you don't know if story does goes anywhere or not. This is Riot, they must be planning something with that lore.
