Nottingham Ezreal, Red Baron Corki and all their friends storm out of retirement for a limited time.

From November 29th to December 31st, 47 previously retired Legacy skins will be in the store at their regular price. Each skin will be on sale for 50% off for one day during this time so you can nab a discount on all your favorite retired skins.

Since we're giving out the schedule ahead of time though, we won't be offering refunds if you purchase a skin before it's on sale and miss out on the discount.

For those of you who just have to have it all, we're introducing the Mega Legacy Bundle for a limited time. From November 29th to December 2nd, you can add all 47 skins to your wardrobe for 60% off and pick up the corresponding Champions for 50% off. Of course, the bundle will automatically adjust in pricing depending on the content you already own.

Treat Yourself to a Mystery Skin

During the Harrowing, many of you asked if you could send a Mystery Gift to yourself. Well, from November 29th throughDecember 2nd, you‘ll be able to do precisely that with Mystery Skin! Each Mystery Skin will deliver a randomly selected un-owned skin currently in the store at 520 RP or higher. As with the first round of Mystery Gifting, you'll only unlock skins for champions you own.

As an extra treat, we'll be including several legacy skins that won't be coming out of the vault for the rest of 2013.

    So will those riot skins that are coming back out (riot Nasus) be available only for mystery gifting? Or can we buy them outright?

    They will be available if you purchase a mystery gift only. Due to this, people will want to buy many mystery gifts as they are not only awesome, but exclusive as well with the chance to get riot/wcs skins.

    Wow am Excited, but Riot will be making hefty bonuses this year with all these skins coming out. All of snow Down, the Legacy skins coming back out, and now we can mystery gift ourselves. Bye bye holiday shopping.

    The regular 'vaulted skins' aren't that interesting for me, the ones I do like I picked up when they went to the vault originally. Might get Firefighter Trist and Alien Heimer for nostalgic reasons though. :)

    Hmm.. I could've sworn they reduced the price on some of these prior to retirement sales.... I know for a fact that I did not pay 1820 for Magnificent Twisted Fate, nor did pay 975 for Matador Alistar.

    I can't believe Magnificent TF is still 1820. That should have EASILY been one of the skins they dropped the pricing on a while back when they were adjusting skins to more properly reflect the amount of work done on them.

    Gotta say, all of these re-releases are kind of a kick in the pants for people who buy these on the basis that they're limited edition. But I can't complain, since I'll be taking full advantage of this sale.

    These skins were never limited. These are the 'older' skins, many of them are just recolors, that don't live up to the standard of the modern skins. They went into the vault as legacy skins and Riot always made it very clear that the vault would open from time to time in the future. There is absolutely no ground to bitch at Riot for this.

    True. I was also referring to the Snowdown skins. Unless they come back every year? I was still new to the game this time last year. And besides, people buy skins when they get discontinued for that very reason. Still, I know Riot has a disclaimer that they may reopen the vault if they want to. I'm just playing devil's advocate, I just know this won't sit well with some people.

    Alright, thought you were referring to the skins in this article. 

    Snowdown skins from 2010 were originally classed as limited and the fact that they are re-released this year has been discussed massively. I wasn't playing back then so for me it's a good thing they re-release them, but I certainly understand if people would to be pissed off about it if they bought the skins back then. They were led to believe that the skins would remain exclusive back then, so. 

    However, since 2011 all Harrowing and Snowdown skins have been classed as 'legacy' and therefore were always placed in the vault. So it's completely legitimate when they decide to temporarily open the vault. Hope this clears things up about the legacy/limited thing. :)
