Unofficial PBE Patch Notes for 11/27/2013 - Yasuo and Lulu Changes, Soraka Armor Change, Item Changes, Jungle Creature Changes

Champion Changes

Soraka 

  • Base armor is now 15.2 (up from 13.2)

Skarner


Lee Sin

  • Safeguard / Iron Will [ W ] - Safeguard: Tooltip now specifies that Lee Sin now shields himself and not an ally if the ally is NOT a champion. "If the ally is a champion,they are also shielded."  A.k.a. he can't shield minions anymore.

Lulu

  • Help, Pix [ E ] - Pix now shields from 80/120/160/200/240 damage (up from 60/105/150/195/240)
  • Wild Growth [ R ] - Mana cost is now 100 (down from 150) 

Yasuo

  • Steel Tempest [ Q ] - Now deals 20/40/60/80/100 damage (up from 10/30/50/70/90)
  • Sweeping Blade [ E ] - AP now scales with 0.6 (down from 1)

Yasuo's Portrait is Flipped

Item Changes

Spirit of the Ancient Golem 

  • UNIQUE Passive - Entrap - renamed to Spirit Drain

Spirit of the Elder Lizard

  • UNIQUE Passive - Entrap - renamed to Spirit Drain

Spirit Stone

  • UNIQUE Passive - Entrap - renamed to Spirit Drain

Spirit of the Spectral Wraith

  • UNIQUE Passive - Entrap - renamed to Spirit Drain
  • No longer grants 10 Magic Penetration
  • New UNIQUE Passive: Gain 100 Movement Speed and ignore unit collision for 3 seconds upon killing a unit.

Jungle Creature Changes

You can see yesterday's jungle creature changes, looks like today's are only reverted values.

Giant Wolf 

  • Gold given on death is now 40 (down from 48)

Golem 

  • Base damage is now 60 (up from 55)

Great wraith 

  • Base damage is now 75 (up from 70)

Wolf 

  • Gold given on death is now 8 (up from 5)

Young Lizard 

  • Gold given on death is now 7 (down from 10)

    Wait, the change to Lee's W still means you can hop to wards, etc, right?

    Yea, this change just means it won't shield minions or pets anymore, he can still jump to everything he could before.

    In before this is bought on EVERYONE....any time you kill a unit you get godlike closing ability...very soon they will reword this to monster (rather than unit).

    Took me a while to figure out who this is actually for....

    Anybody remember when Hecarim was really dominant??? This item + his passive. Do you even remember his passive? When he was released, everybody tried to build movespeed for a particular reason....

     

     

    I'm thinking maybe get SotSW, Merc Treads, Trinity Force, Randuins...

    Everyone tried to build move speed and ended up with a horrible build.

    My MS-AD pony is actually a beast in aram. Casual triples n shit. No escape from pony.

    Of course it is different. Season 2 had what for movespeed items, now? Do you even remember? People were trying to build multiple Phantom dancers on him at the time. Of course that is terrible.

    The SotSW is a spirit stone item, which he needs, and it stacks in many ways with the double movespeed buff from Trinity Force, which was always good on him. Boots+SSW+TF+runes/masteries would cruise at 452ms and burst up to 529ms if he just kills a creep. (i'm not including his E here) That's a minimum of 26 AD and maximum of 46 bonus AD (in bursts) from two items and boots. In the jungle, he's killing the small creep with his Q faster than the big creep anyway, which gives him more AD to finish the big creep.

    And I'm not suggesting that you continue to build MS after that, you know. I was suggesting Mercs+green, Randuins, SV, Warmogs, etc. to finish out the rest.

    The item we are talking about gives 50 ap, 10% cdr, standard jungle clear and a situational 3 sec move speed increase. That isnt much for 2000g compared to the other items and the move speed will at best give you 20 AD for a short time. 

    Compare it to Elder Lizards, which gives you a permanent 30 AD and a true dmg dot that you can aoe proc with your main dmg ability + auto attacks. Or Ancient Golem that allows you to soak a bit of dmg and get free tenacity. Sure, you will move really fast at times, but it doesnt help if you arent dealing dmg or they just turn around and kill you. 

    Long story short - you wont be able to make use of the item before you got some dmg and tank stats and by that time you still spend a lot of gold on not a whole lot.

    Dude the jungle camps kick my ass right now. Why are they getting to do even more damage? By the time I do a full clear (if even) I basically have to return to base. This is making counterjungling way too strong since I'm basically 30% hp in the jungle at all points and scarf down my pots like candy.

     

    Lastly, when is it going to register in their brains that to make Wriggles Lantern good all they need to fucking do is make the ward 3 minutes again instead of the 1 minute bull crap. If they made the ward 3 minutes then you can actually get two full free wards using a trinket + wriggles and it would actually be quite solid.

    Those changes are not in line with the official LOL client but with the patch they did on PBE before, i think...

    So basicly they did nerf the jungle camp to see the effects but it didnt turn out like they did hope, so with this new patch they just put back the old stats who are active on the official LOL client atm..

    The trinket's ward is the one not lasting 3 minutes (unless you upgrade it).

    Jungle creature changes: all i can say is that it looks like riot isn't even trying.  "Hey lets add 4 gold to this camp and take 4 gold away from this camp.  CRAZINESS MUST ENSUE, RIGHT??? RIGHT?  GUYS?"

    Is this really what their line of thinking is on fixing the jungle camps?  I hate to break it to you all, but changing gold values around isn't going to do much.  We need  a straight buff to machete's passive so that you get more gold from jungle mobs without the laners having more incentive to take them (by giving them all a flat increase).

    But a jungler should get gold but no where near as much as a laner. As you basically get a stress free "lane" to farm in without constant threat of harrass. So I dont think they should get as much gold as a laner. More sure but it should come from ganks and assists. Not farming.

    The point of bringing Jungle gold closer to Lane gold is to make ganking take some sort of opportunity cost.

    At the moment you can either:
    - farm the jungle for a definite 200G
    OR
    - attempt a gank for a possible 450G

    Ganking is still worth more than Jungling, but you'd better get a kill or you've wasted a lot of your jungler's time. The Jungler gets to make the call as to what will pay off more and should act accordingly.

    Unless you starve out an opponent or get a tower or save a teammate or your own tower,,,,,

    Kills don't precisely mean winning.

    They made that change to remove confusion. The old version looks almost identical to Graves on the mini-map.
