Champion Changes


  • Base damage is now 51 (down from 54 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Damage per level is now 3 (up from 2.75 compared to last PBE patch)


  • Pyromania [ Passive ] - Tooltip now says: 'After casting 4 spells, Annie's next offensive spell will stun the target for a short duration.' (Previously was specified to be 1.75 seconds)
  • Summon: Tibbers [ R ] - Cooldown is now 120/100/80 Seconds (changed from 120/120/120 Seconds compared to last PBE patch)


  • Ravage [ E ] - Now deals a total of 70/110/150/190/230 damage (up from 50/95/140/185/230 compared to last PBE patch)


  • Wither [ W ] - Range is now 600 (up from 500 compared to last PBE Patch)


  • Battle Roar [ W ] - Ferocity Bonus now restores 0.8 * AP of Rengar's missing health (previously only said '0.8 health')

We're currently testing 1/25/1.5/1.75s (increasing at levels 1/6/11). That's a nerf to Annie's early game and one that affects duo lane Annie a bit more than solo lane Annie, since she'll be leveling slower. The ult CD reduction is intended to add power to the later part of her power curve, in recognition that the early part's getting reduced.

Lunar Gong Sight Ward Skin

Riot placed a model for a Lunar Gong Sight Ward Skin, but the textures for it were not included, so we took the liberty of putting a random texture for the sake of showing you the ward. This is BY FAR NOT how the texture will look!

Banner of The Horse Ward Skin

Another ward skin was added with yesterday's patch - it's called 'Banner of the Horse' and looks fancy!

    Umm if Tibbers cooldown goes to 80 seconds and you get 40% cooldown Tibbers becomes a 48 second cooldown. Now on the non pbe (I don't know if its changed on pbe) Tibbers lasts 45 seconds so 40% cdr = Permatibbers :D except those 3 seconds...

    So... has anyone commented on the "Boost" icon? Is it an icon of a pre-existing game element? Or is it a new S4 Summoner Spell?

    edit: Did some digging and apparently "Boost" was the old name for Cleanse. Huh, neat.

    This new Riven should please that Diamong I player (displayed as challenger on RoG) that play her more like a bruiser/offtank than pure assassin. If you are behind, you can build some tankyness and not feel ridiculous.


    Did Nasus get a nerf last PBE patch or are they randomly buffing him?

    Thank Anubis that Riot quickly noticed that 500 range on Nasus' Wither is ridiculous. I can live with the nerfs if people would finally stop to ban him. YoloQ was not merciful with me recently so I was not first pick to troll ban to leave too many "Must-ban" options to the enemy to hopefully get Nasus through.

    As an Evelynn main, I was originally disgusted that they made her so bad on the PBE that she would no longer be used competitively, after she was finally good enough to play in solo queue again after a whole YEAR of being only good in ranked team games and tournaments due to two sets of poorly-handled nerfs.

    For once, Riot actually fixed their nerf to make it reasonable! :3 Too bad they aren't this careful every time, or people would still play Diana and Darius and I wouldn't have gone an entire year without playing my main. Now that they have put her base damage on her E back, I think the nerfs will be completely reasonable and she will still be good. It now only procs Blade Weaving once, doesn't scale with mpen, and her Q is a million times easier to dodge. I don't think those things will be a big deal.

    Lol at the people that said riven got nerfed in this PBE patch in particular. I did the math and she has 2 more AD at lvl18, just less at lvl 1.

    it's kind of another unnecessary nerf, the changes to e are what is going to really destroy rivens potential to carry or snowball, with this nerf she now has less base ad then renekton, trynd, garen, and still has worse ad scaling per level even at 3... at high level play I think the only place riven will be seen is mid because counters like garen and renekton are going to straight up mop the floor with these all these new nerfs top...  

    overall shes losing 3 ad level one (the scaling becomes even to the old at  level 13) and is gaining 1. 25 ad at level 18... compared to the old value... overall another nerf...

    and losing 3 ad early is a lot worse then gaining 1.25 ad at level 18... (it's nothing...)

    Isn't her ultimate gated by flash's cooldown anyway? Still nice to see, that it will be always up for team fights. That's a nice change.

    We may see more pet focussed builds, because technically Annie will be able to have her Tibbers up almost permanently with maxed out cdr. It's pretty lame, that her signature move is only valued for its reliable burst potential.

    I'd love it if they changed Tibbers to have less impact damage, but more DoT. Usually you don't even get to fight Annie's pet, because she just instakills you. Her pet could have so much more depth.

    i think tibbers should gain movespeed with rank, at 350 MS hes faster than ranged people with no boots but slower than ranged people with boots hes slower than most melees even without boots, this hurts his ability to stay on point for maximum burn potential and hamstrings his ability to auto attack (a pretty substantial damage output of 50 / 65.625 / 81.25 physical damage per second 80 / 105 / 130 per hit). this combined with him much higher uptime later in the game, would be a huge boon to annies, continued damage output rather than her burst potential. alternatively they could make tibbers inherit annies bonus movespeed.

    This would be stupid. Are you trying to buff Annie to god mode? Tibbers will already have only 3s of downtime at lvl 16 and in team fights he does huge dmg if you stick around. Removing the only way to counter Tibbers, which is moving away, is just stupid. Please think next time. Unless you nerf his initial burst like the OP talked about into nothingness but a stun and maybe 1/4th of an ADCs health at most.
