New Frost Queen's Claim Visuals

There are a few visual changes to Frost Queen's Claim (see its stats changes near the bottom of the post). It also doesn't necessarily require a target anymore.


Champion Changes

Ryze

  • Base Health is now 495 (up from 446 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Overload [ Q ] - Added to the tooltip: "If Overload kills its target Ryze gains 30 mana."
  • Overload [ Q ] - Range is now 625 (up from 600 compared to last PBE patch)

Corki

  • Phosphorus Bomb [ Q ] - Now also has 0.5 bonus AD ratio

Gragas

  • Body Slam [ E ] - AD ratio is now 0 (changed from 0.5*AD compared to last PBE patch)
  • Explosive Cask [ R ] - Damage now scales with 0.8*AP (down from 1*AP compared to last PBE patch)

Kassadin

  • Null Sphere [ Q ] - Now deals 80/110/140/170/200 damage (down from 80/115/150/185/220 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Null Sphere [ Q ] - Silence duration is now 1/1.3/1.5/1.8/2 seconds (Down from 1.5/1.8/2/2.3/2.5 seconds compared to last PBE patch)
  • Force Pulse [ E ] - Damage dealt upon reaching 6 charges is now 80/120/160/200/240 ( down from 80/130/180/230/280 compared to last PBE patch)

Teemo

  • Noxious Trap [ R ] - Total AP ratio is now 0.4 (down from 0.8 total AP compared to last PBE patch)

Aegis of the Legion

  • Now costs 1875 (down from 1950 compared to last PBE patch)

Ancient Coin

  • No longer regenerates 5 Health per 5 seconds
  • UNIQUE Passive - Favor: Now also grants 5 health while near a minion death without dealing the killing blow

Boots of Mobility

  • Now cost 800 (down from 1000 compared to last PBE patch)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Enhanced Movement is now 25 (down from 45 compared to last PBE patch)

Face of the Mountain

  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War: Killing a minion now heals you as well
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War: Healing is now equal to 50 + 1% of your maximum Health (changed from 2% of your maximum health only)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War: Gold on kill is no longer specified (previously was 10)
  • Active is no longer Deadly Phalanx - no longer consumes 20% of your current Health in order to activate the shield
  • Active: Explosion damage after 4 seconds is now equal to 150% of the shielded ally's total Attack Damage

Farsight Orb (Trinket)

  • Added to the tooltip: "Level 9+ required to upgrade."
  • Active's tooltip end now says: "Enemy champions found will be revealed for 5 seconds (90 second cooldown)." (Changed from "Non-stealthed enemy champions found will be visible for 5 seconds (90 second cooldown.)" )

Frost Queen's Claim

  • AP Granted is now 40 (down from 50 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Now grants 10% Cooldown reduction
  • UNIQUE Passive - Tribute now says: "Spells and basic attacks against champions or buildings deal 15 additional damage and grant 8 Gold. This can occur up to three times every 30 seconds." (Changed from "Spells and basic attacks against champions grant 8 Gold, up to once every 10 seconds per enemy.Killing a minion disables this passive for 10 seconds.")
  • UNIQUE Active now says: "Fires an ice lance that explodes dealing 40 (+5 per champion level) magic damage to nearby enemies and slowing their Movement Speed by 80%,decaying over 2 seconds.(60 second cooldown.)" (Changed from "Arctic Embrace: Chills target enemy champion and all nearby enemies, dealing 50 Magic damage and reducing Movement Speed by 50% for 2 seconds (60 second cooldown.)" )

Frostfang

  • Now costs 865 (up from 850 compared to last PBE patch)
  • No longer grants 20 AP
  • UNIQUE Passive - Tribute now says: "Spells and basic attacks against champions or buildings deal 15 additional damage and grant 8 Gold. This can occur up to three times every 30 seconds." (Changed from "Spells and basic attacks against champions grant 8 Gold, up to once every 10 seconds per enemy.")
  • UNIQUE Passive - Tribute is now disabled for 12 seconds after killing a minion (up from 10 seconds)

Greater Stealth Totem (Trinket)

  • Added to the tooltip: "Level 9+ required to upgrade."
  • UNIQUE Active's cooldown is now 90 seconds (down from 120 seconds compared to last PBE patch)

Greater Vision Totem (Trinket) 

  • Added to the tooltip: "Level 9+ required to upgrade."

Ionian Boots of Lucidity

  • Now costs 800 (down from 1000 compared to last PBE patch)
  • UNIQUE Passive now grants 10% Cooldown reduction (down from 15% compared to last PBE patch)

Nomad's Medallion

  • Now costs 865 (up from 850 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Now grants 10 Mana regen (down from 11 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Now grants 5 health regen (down from 8 compared to last PBE patch)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Favor: Now also grants 5 health when being near a minion death without dealing the killing blow

Ohmwrecker

  • Now costs 1925 (down from 2000 compared to last PBE patch)

Oracle's Lens (Trinket)

  • Added to the tooltip: "Level 9+ required to upgrade."
  • UNIQUE Active now grants detection of nearby invisible units for 10 seconds (up from 8 seconds compared to last PBE patch)

Relic Shield

  • Now grants 75 health (up from 50 compared to last PBE patch)
  • No longer regenerates 6 health per 5 seconds
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War now also heals you upon killing a minion (previously was the nearest allied champion only)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War now heals for 40 Health (changed from 2% of your maximum health)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War no longer has the amount of gold on kill specified (previously was 5)

Ruby Crystal

  • Now costs 400 (Down from 475)
  • Now grants 150 Health (down from 180)

Ruby Sightstone

  • Now costs 1325 (Down from 1550 compared to last PBE patch)

Rylai's Crystal Scepter

  • Now costs 2975 (up from 2900)

Scrying Orb (Trinket)

  • Instead of a Passive, there is a tooltip addition: "At level 9,cast range increases to 2500."
  • Active's cooldown is now 120 seconds (down from 150 seconds compared to last PBE patch)

Sightstone

  • Now costs 800 (Down from 950 compared to last PBE patch)
  • Now grants 150 Health (Down from 180 compared to last PBE patch)

Spellthief's Edge

  • No longer grants 10 Ability Power
  • UNIQUE Passive - Tribute now says: "Spells and basic attacks against champions or buildings deal 10 additional damage and grant 4 Gold. This can occur up to three times every 30 seconds" (Changed from "Basic attacks against champions grant 4 Gold, up to once every 10 seconds per enemy.")
  • UNIQUE Passive - Tribute is disabled for 12 seconds after killing a minion (up from 10 seconds compared to last PBE patch)

Sweeping Lens (Trinket)

  • Passive is replaced by a tooltip addition: "At level 9,cast range and sweep radius increase by 50% each and the cooldown is reduced to 60 seconds."
  • Active now reveals and disables nearby invisible traps and invisible wards for 6 seconds (up from 4 seconds compared to last PBE patch)

Talisman of Ascension

  • UNIQUE Passive - Favor: Now also grants 10 health when a minion dies nearby without you dealing the killing blow

Targon's Brace

  • Now grants 8 health regen (down from 12 compared to last PBE patch)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War now heals you as well (previously only healed the nearest ally champion)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War now heals for 50 health (changed from 2% of your maximum health)
  • UNIQUE Passive - Spoils of War: Amount of gold on kill is no longer specified (previously was 10)

Warding Totem (Trinket)

  • Passive is now replaced by a tooltip addition, saying: "At level 9,this ward's duration increases to 120 seconds."

    Finally, a Kassadin nerf that isn't retarded! :D I personally think they should give him 5 movement speed because of the lowered silence duration, but hopefully he will still be tournament viable after these changes.

    That's silly direction for Teemo nerf, better keep shrooms same dmg, but make it so enemy team has easier time clearing them. Suddenly, counterplay!

    I'm glad they are buffing Ryze. After his range nerf, he completely disappeared from competitive play. The mana refund helps with his laning phase (weakest phase for him) and the range increase is good.

    Regarding teemo, that ult nerf is dumb. Teemo deals no damage outside of shrooms (unless youre building ad teemo). They should nerf the mushroom duration from 10mins to 3-4 mins. I think it's the duration that is the problem, not the damage. One champion having almost perma map control is stupid.

    I'm assuming that "Ryze gains 30 mana" means he gets that replenished like Xerath's new passive, and not that he gets his max mana increased by 30?

    Lol buffing red trinket by 2 seconds (after the previous buff), nerfing mobi boots. nerfing cdr boots. and nerfing teemo. Wtf riot? Seriously these changes are unneeded compared to other OP champs/balance issues. I main teemo in challenger solo que and i have to say , if people buy red trinkets and upgrade it, teemo is already shit since hes squishy and they can clear faster then i can place my shrooms even at 40 percent cdr. If this goes live i wont be able to play my only teemo account ever again and Teemo will never been viable in any way shape or form again. His laning phase is terrible compared to lets say renekton/jax/shy/mundo/any other top laner, and now with red trinkets and nerf to ult, teemo will be literally useless. Please dont make this unnecessary change go live.

    Teemo has a 54.15% win rate, the 3rd highest in the game. And that's not because of a small number of longtime players inflating the statistics: his ban rate is 4.86% (18th place) and his pick rate is 9.21% (38th).

    Trying to bring back Ryze...  Over and over we've seen how lacking in counterplay he is, and still riot doesn't learn.

    .5 AD ratio on phosbomb, that thing is gonna hurt, since it already did decent damage and they just slapped on a .5AD ratio.

    Still doubtful as to whether spelltheif item set will be even remotely decent.  Maybe worse.

    Ionians and Mobis seem to be completely targeted at supports since their slot efficiency relative to merks/tabis/sorcs seems terrible, though on the other hand I like the idea of getting better movespeed on supports without having to spend so damn much money.

    Rylais costs more for no reason?

    Riot could very easily be doing the ryze buff for new players. He was my favorite champion to play back when I was developing how I should play the game. Counter-play doesn't exist at early levels, it is just a test to see how well you know how to play the game. Ryze is a really good intro to AP casters IMO

    Competitive games are generally balanced around the highest competitive or pro level.  The mana return will make being forced under a tower less punishing than it already is, and the range increase will make him more abusive when ahead and harder to bully.

    Hypercarry type champions shouldn't be introductory characters.  IMO Annie, Morg, n Kennen are good starters.  Annie is incredibly boring but morg is pretty solid, easy to farm with, has a nice skillshot, and doesn't require fast hands to combo.  Unfortunately after they changed her ult re-tether calculation her ult has been shit.

    Just delete teemo.  that ult nerf is retarded.

    He isn't even in any top teams or top game play.  His win ratio is shit, he cant take top and only stomps mid champions that cant handle his poke.

    If this goes live, teemo will never see play.  He already took a 33% base damage nerf to his ult in season 3 and season 4 they want to nerf his ratio by 50%.

    So stupid.  This is 100% work of that dbag called Ghost Crawler.
