I swear this information is more hidden than cloths in a nudist colony.
I got all 4 ribbons at some point. I have received the Red ribbon AND the Green Ribbon twice now. Did I lose them and did they just come back? If I did lose them, is there no way for me to be informed I lost them?
Because I've been having the Yellow "Great Leader" ribbon on in every match. Now, I haven't joined a game since this Green Ribbon popped up for the second time (at work or I'd check), but does that mean I have now lost my Yellow Ribbon and have "moved back down" to Green? Or does that mean I lost my Green Ribbon and it just came back, but Yellow will still show up?
Seriously it is crazy how much of an undertaking this has been for Riot and how much positive feed back there has been from the Player Base to just not have ANY details on it. When you click the "find out more information" button when you get a Ribbon, it tells you nothing of significance IMO.
Please... I beg of you. I don't know if this is OCD or something, but it really gets under my skin that I have no idea why I keep getting Ribbons, when some are removed, IF they're removed, or if the system is just bugging.

I truly appreciate this feed back, and that there was some Red attention to this thread. There were a still a number of questions on any ETA or plan of updating the honor page to answer some more of the FAQs that we see pop up on the forums daily.

Did you have any information on some of the other questions I presented? As I said, I love the system, and feel that it really has done some good already in the short while. I just feel that it's a shame that there are tid-bits of information about the system spread out throughout the forums without anything central for ALL of the FAQs (Not just the small handful on the Honor page).
You're correct in several ways here. I understand that Honor can sometimes feel like it has a nebulous presence throughout the game and it may be somewhat frustrating if you're unable to find out where exactly you stand within it (i.e. checking to see what crests you currently have). I don't have any solid plans or details to share at this time, but we're definitely keeping our eyes on threads like this as well as on other feedback channels. The Honor Initiative is a living breathing thing and voicing your concerns and feedback will assuredly help us iterate on the experience. Thanks for the post

We're aware of an issue where, under certain circumstances, a user who is already in possession of a Crest of Honor might see its notification upon login again. This particular issue, while confusing, does not affect your Honor situation at all. As you mentioned, it is also separate from other scenarios where one's actions might have caused them to lose their Honor (and where that same person subsequently obtains the Crest again).
