I am an aspiring ADC S3, Ive been trying to slowly figure out A-Clicking, and I cant do it, is it meant for minions? Or just not to get juked? Can I right click to gain CS? or is it still a bad idea? Im just so confused, and I find myself missing a lot more cs when I try to A click them. Im not even sure how the mechanics work to be honest, so can someone let me know?
TLDR: Teach me how attackmove works and ill give you candy.
You can also shift-right click to get the same behavior if A-click isn't comfortable for you.
I believe people do it so that their champion doesnt run in in case they misclick or the minion dies. Instead of running to that spot, you would just attack the closest thing instead.
Legacy slang from DOTA / War3 engine where you gained proc effects on your autoattacks that were represented by orbs rotating around you. Lots of dota champions had abilities that added these to their autoattacks as a skill. Even after the orbs were removed, the name stuck.
It actually isn't the same thing in LoL at all, in LoL we use it to mean autoattack animation cancelling, since we dont have many orb spells (Teemo used to have one!)
AttackMove, can someone explain mechanics ?
