im not even afraid to share this,

The first case i understand, i thought i was in a normal game with my friend, turns out we were playing an 1800 elo ranked game, it was my bad and i had no idea, i litteraly wanted to try cait for the first time in a normal game, why would i duo q with a person at 1800elo when im at 1400? was an accident nothing bannable.......

and the other 2 cases i was calm the whole time, trying to be a team player, nothing bannable in these other 2 cases.

im soooo upset right now, i dont even troll man, im a grown ass man im the one who gets trolled on a daily........

this tribunal is screwing people over left and right.........

    Bro,

Let me give you some free advice.

This is a really opportune time in your life to stop externalizing blame. You can't control what other people do. But you can control what you do. And blaming other people for when something goes badly that you are partially at fault for is not going to solve any problems or get you anywhere, either in LoL or in life.

You are right, you did get trolled some. But you were hardly an angel in games 2 and 3. In game 2, you took small trolling and escalated it. In game 3, you took a small critique from Draven to then go insult his skill (rather than be constructive), then escalated further after he didn't escalate and just sortof repeated what he said before (in a slightly softer tone honestly). You really need to be calm in these situations, and also, in reading your tribunal case, take responsibility for where you could've been a more positive influence.

Part of tolerance is being respectful and sensitive and all that. But part of tolerance is not letting yourself get set off by random things, and to take things in stride. You seem to start off doing the first, but you don't do the second, and then you stop doing the first.

I hope your ban actually causes you to briefly consider this stuff. It's really not too hard to not get banned in League -- just be calm.

No, I told him to take the opportunity to reflect upon how this happened and what he may want to learn from it. Getting over it is a separate issue ;p

    but

even though my leona chat was rude and insincere, i should have talked nicely yes. Its still not punishable, i wasn't raging or yelling all caps exclamation points everywhere, i wasnt spamming, it wasnt harsh comments to where the kid was gonna hang himself, it wasnt bullying it wasnt anything major.

And thats the point im trying to get at, this is really really weak stuff im getting banned for, and no one is seeing how low the "tolerance" bar is, cuz anyone can enter the tribunal with a chip on there shoulder and jus say bannable bannable bannable, and get that satisfaction of "banning" someone.

and the kids saying "glad your banned, uninstall, working as intended" all that stuff.

    im jus baffled
    It's a two step process:

    1) You have to be reported fairly consistently
    2) Your tribunal casefile has to look bad enough to cause you to get a punish verdict

Because you got a time ban, it means you either got a warning or a time ban or both before. So, presumably, this reporting trend is not new.

My read of this situation is that you likely are consistently a little bit easy to inflame. The reason we have the tribunal is to give feedback to these situations -- where someone is not a raging jerk, but tends to be negative in games disproportionately.

In short, it's not enough to be 'not a raging jerk'. You also need to be 'generally neutral or positive'. Honestly, the guy who rages uncontrollably 1 in 100 games and is nice the rest of the time is probably going to have a better tribunal harassment rating than you (and should).
