The spanish way to laugh via internet is "Jajaja" instead of north american's hahaha.
Most of the spanish guys 'll use "lol", "hahaha" or "rofl" altho.
Thanks for the info, but i'm a little confused by your regional assignments. Do you mean Spanish as in Spain? There is a lot of spanish spoken in Mexico, which is part of North America, so I'm a little confused by your Spanish vs North American comparison. There is a lot of Portugese spoken in Brazil, which has a large LoL playing population in South America.
To be fair, the Spanish spoken in Mexico is distinct from the Spanish spoken in Spain. There are 'Mexican' idioms and lingual traits that are completely distinct from other Spanish, just as Americans and Australians have their own linguistic idiosyncrasies.
You are absolutely correct, and I am familiar with neither so I don't know the differences. I only speak 2 spoken languages (not counting code) and neither is Spanish . Unfortunately, my Spanish is limited to about 20 words that can help me buy beers and find bathrooms/libraries.
