Sure sure, this thread has probably been made before, but after googling many different questions relating to the matter, no forum posts came up, and thusly, not enough attention has been brought to the matter.
None the less, according to the Mid-August Patch Preview, Friend List Notes were being put on hold, to be released pending further PBE testing at a later date.
Well, I think 3 months is a good amount of time for a game such as this, PLUS pre-season is rolling out, so what better time to take a look at this than now?
I know for sure that I'd kill for this feature, considering I'll be the first to admit I have a really horrid memory and can't recall where I met half the people on my friends list. Hovering over someone and reading "Met in an ARAM match; super friendly" or "Played an amazing Renekton top lane" would jog my memory enough to where I would want to invite them to a game.
None the less, I'm mostly desiring to get some red attention to this thread, so keep it active as to let the riot staff know this a feature we're hoping to have sooner than later!
Hey guys! We haven't forgotten about friend notes. The feature is unfortunately not as simple as it seems, and we've had to roll out some backend work that will ensure they will work for millions of friends and notes on the live servers - as well as getting in a couple small UI tweaks. As soon as we're sure that everything looks good, we'll be rolling them out - and it won't be too long.
