I would say an 8/10. It's kind of fun, haven't been this addicted to a game since Maplestory, but this one isn't run by a horrible company who literally only cares about your money. Even though Riot gets a lot of ****, I'd say they're pretty alright.
I guess that's just because they haven't been in the gaming industry that long. 6 years isn't that long compared to most of the other companies out there, and LoL's only been up for 3. I would say they're doing pretty good for a fairly new company.
I probably seem like a kiss ass though, but that's only because I've had to deal with so many bad companies before (nexon, microsoft, EA) but ya.
I'm hurt, many of us have tons of experience! I've been doing this since LAST MILLENNIUM -- got my start on an indy game in college, and then worked for Blizzard on War3 and WoW. Kitae was in charge of class systems and core combat of Mass Effect 2 as a lead designer, and she's a lead designer here. Morello was at Arena.net for something like 5 years before he worked here. RjCombo has something like 12 or 13 years of game design experience. There are lots of others.
Anyway, the design is good if you are finding the game fun for a long period of time ;p (of course, we can always do better and hope you enjoy the s3 changes)
But it's really nice to see the support on this thread, we went into this field because we wanted to make games and have people enjoy them. For me, it's always motivating for me no matter how long I do it to see people enjoying a game I've worked on.
What do you feel about me thinking Baldurs Gate II is a better game?
imo if you guys got david warner to VA... LoL would explode with awesome sauce
Sure, Baldur's Gate 2, planescape torment, both awesome games, and classics. I'd say on a "how much fun you have while you play them" they are better than really any multiplayer game... except you can only play them for 30-50 hours realistically (then dust them off every few years).
So, you are comparing apples to oranges. LoL is built to be really fun and replayable for a very long time. BG2 is built to be the most fun possible for 20-30 hours. Different goals. It's better to compare LoL to other multiplayer games (yes, I know, Bg2 had a minimal multiplayer framework, but it wasn't very popular).

You can probably imagine how excited I was to get hired. I was playing about 20 hours a week with a dedicated 5s team when I was going through my interview process.
If you left that 5s team after you got hired...i hope you get fired
Couldn't commit to practice time anymore. I was going to stay around and help practice/coach, but they didn't find a replacement and the team kinda fell apart =(
On a scale of 1-10, rate how much you like this game.

what do u think
Or that you don't, and are a person who loves to inflict pain upon yourself with things you don't like.
Either way, I consider this an accomplishment.

Would play again!
