This is the error message I keep getting.
0001: unable to locate the content swf directory: app:/mod/win
Idk what to do, ive uninstalled and re installed still nothing. Also tried running as Admin, still nothing. Just wondering what I could do to fix this problem.
Thank you for bringing this issue to the Help and Support Forum! The error you are providing seems to be incredibly rare. However, as rare as it is, it can completely prevent you from playing League of Legends. Because of this, hopefully we can find a swift resolution.
Commonly, this error is often caused by a failed self-patch of the patcher. Make sure to attempt the following steps in hopes of resolving this issue:
The first and most common solution is to force the patcher to repatch itself. You can do this by deleting this folder:
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_launcher
If you chose a custom install path, the folder may be in a different location.
Many players also fixed this problem by disabling the UAC(Windows Vista and Win7 Only)
Here is a short guide to disabling the UAC: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...windows-vista/
- Be sure to use the "Never notify me when:" setting
However, if you have attempted these steps and are still experiencing this same error message, then please do not hesitate to let us know by creating a new Support Ticket* so we may further assist you in a one-on-one setting in order to arrive at a Full Resolution!
