Neither the boyfriend nor I is much of a drinker or partier. We are having more fun just hanging out together, browsing the internet, playing games, etc.
Sad fact of many engineers is that they have aspergers which contributes to a introverted life style. Its a job that fits them very well though because everything is very controlled and calculated.
Not saying you have aspergers just saying where the stereotype comes from.
The estimated percentage of the population that has Asperger's Syndrome is pretty small (< 1% in the US), so I'm not sure that *many* engineers have it, but certainly, it is a career that fits nicely with the AS profile/personality. I think, though, it also just fits nicely for introverts in general, as you deal mostly with machines all day, rather than customers/people.

Well, I was hanging out with someone, and having a great time. However, as an introvert, I also highly enjoy time alone. If you don't, then perhaps you are more of an extrovert.
So why are you on here instead of partying tonight?
8 mins to go and my parents are getting all jumpy. I don't see the big deal.
What's your story?
