@RiotRayanami, about mute system

  • I see why you made this change and it's cool but ignore system needs some improvement.

    There's a huge problem about ignore system that concerns me since I started playing this game. When I ignore people, it's because they're either spamming or flaming, sometimes both. Still, I usually don't want to ignore pings because they have a critical role. In the end I end up not ignoring people since lack of communication leads to defeat.

    Now same thing's going to happen all over again. When someone spams Singed's laugh, I'll probably ignore that guy but what if I actually don't want to ignore their pings and texts?

    If possible, I want you to seperate these mute functions, so that I can still hear pings and emotes from the player I muted or vice versa. Chat is the main reason why people mute each other but I don't see why I have to ignore someone completely just because they spammed some emotes.

    I think this could cause some problems in the ignore list on pvp.net client but it doesn't have to change, chat ignore can remain there, others don't have to be there since chat ignore is the most important function.

    Yes, I agree with you. There should be options for players to mute emote sounds from a spammer and not have to mute critical gameplay information like texts and pings.

    We are aware the current situation is not optimal - it will improve.
