It turns out that a good part of intermediate tank play involves body blocking opposing champions with proper positioning. Ghost through collisions as an always-on ubiquitous stat removed a lot of the more interesting positional blocking on a champion to champion basis.
As a result, the boots would have to be so expensive as to be incredibly niche, which honestly is kind of the initial problem.
So, I'm not trying to call you out or anything, I just would like you to tell me what makes ignore unit collision okay on PD, but not BoS.
Is it because PD is priced accordingly? Did you re-test and find ignore unit collision wasn't that big a deal? What?
People said that Ez shouldn't be buying Iceborn Gauntlet, or that Ahri shouldn't be buying AP tanky. Shouldn't item balance accommodate for unforeseen meta shifts?
I'm not talking about "this isn't designed for him" I'm talking about him getting better mileage from different items.
If people really want to drop like 2800 for ignore unit collision then go for it.
Edit: I also closed your thread because no one's posting in it any more. When 50% of a pages comments are you saying "bump" we can't leave those open anymore. Sorry!
Riot employees are some of the least robotic people I have seen in an online game staff, actually.
Take, for example, Star Wars The Old Republic. Every time a Bioware employee posted on those forums it sounded like the same person. There was no personality in them. It is for this reason that Riot Games is my favorite gaming company.

And generally speaking, you're body blocking things that aren't AD carries, so no real impact there either.

BTW Zed is strong. <3
