Hi there GD and possibly @Riot @Morello @Pendragon @Phreak, @davin, @Lyte, @RiotDudeBro
It is 12 am and I'm lying on my bed. I decided to share my dream with league and hopefully a rioter will see.
My dream isn't to become the best of the best in league of legends (it would be nice but I have a long way to go and a lot to learn). My dream is to work for Riot Games. I know, original right? :P
So you may ask, why do I want to work at Riot. My future aspirations is to work in the gaming industry, as I believe it is one of the fastest growing industries out there. to me, Riot Games has been a role model of a company (if that's a thing) for me from its player support, to it's amazing player interaction and great business model. And after going to a seminar when Riot Games came to my university, I wanted in.
Why should Riot consider me? I do NOT have a 4.0 GPA (btw I'm in Canada), however, I have, what I like to believe, other awesome qualities. Despite me being in accounting (I know borin right), I am a fun, creative individual who's outgoing and very very spontaneous. I am also very very passionate about League of Legends if you can't tell with my over 5k games.
What would I bring to the table? My passion, my dedication, and my ability to learn and adopt. I want to work in the gaming industry and I believe, Riot Games may be the best fit for me out there.
What will I do to show you my dedication and skills? Of course I will submit a resume and cover letter but I don't think that's enough to convince Riot. So, from TODAY, I swear to be the most positive player in the game, I will go on the forums and help other players, and most importantly, I will demonstrate my skills through analyzing QQ threads or "I want this" threads.
Oh and what do I want? A simple business or accounting related job that will help me learn from experience. I may not be the best candidate, but I will become one of the best employees.
So GD and @Riot, help me fulfill my dream and have me work for Riot, even just for four months (my next coop term)
Sincerely Yours,
SwaggieBear (Formerly JZBear)
TL;DR I want to work at Riot, help me <3

This. Put this same passion into your resume, cover letter and everything you do in life because that goes a long way! Good luck!
My advice to you would be this: Try and never stop trying.
I personally started out on the forums as a Wrenchmen (the first female Wrenchmen in fact). I had a great passion for League of Legends before I even started working for Riot, and seeing so many people on the Help and Support forums having issues that kept them from enjoying something that I enjoyed so much sparked something in me that I had never felt before.
I would go there and try to help out as many people as I could, never expecting anything in return. When I was nominated and became a Wrenchmen it was a HUGE honor, because that meant that my being helpful meant a lot and it gave my posts a little more weight.
I applied to Riot a few months after that, not thinking I had enough schooling or experience to get in. When I was called for an interview my passion for Riot and League must have made me stand out, because I was hired a few weeks after that.
So, for anyone else that thinks they're not talented or good enough - you never know until you try!
My dream is... @Riot
