I know that Rioters are on the forums to enjoy themselves, that digging through ideas can be a tad mind wracking, and that many Riot posts aren't on core game issues.
I'm just curious as to how often Rioters visit, say, the Item and Champion discussion forums.
Theres nothing wrong with red posts on less than serious GD discussions and how they spend their time is their business, but I wonder if GD is the only place to get a Rioter to see your idea.
I think is probably depends on the Rioter, both their personal preferences, as well as their job description. For designers, content in Item Discussion and Champion Feedback is likely to be more relevant to their daily job. Bug Reports may be more relevant to live support, QA, or engineers working on code, than say the finance department, etc. Then again, maybe someone outside of design really loves discussing (or reading discussion about) items and champions. Something like Fan Art could appeal to anyone. It's just a matter of where the Rioter wants to focus their attention and how they divide up time for looking at forums versus other aspects of their job. Personally I mostly read GD and New Player Forum.
How often do Rioters look at non-GD forums?

On a completely unrelated sidenote, any kind of games coming up or something in PlayWithRiot? :<
