I finished my initial seeding last week and was placed in Silver II and after a few games had around 70 league points. Today I came back and played a ranked match and after our loss (can you kill the leavers with fire yet?) got a cheerful popup congratulating me for being promoted to the Bronze Division I where I sit with 0 league points. Now I'm not a pro by any means but I'm pretty sure something went wrong with the system for me to go from middling skill levels to absolute bottom of the barrel over a single loss even if the system is tuned to hypersensitivity. The worst part of this is that even if I win absolutely every game I'm looking at a minimum of 14 promotion matches to get back to where I was disregarding any games that I need within each level to earn the points to get to a promotion series in the first place.
"Promoted" to Bronze I with 0 points...from Silver II with 70 points
