For those of you quoting the rule of large numbers for guaranteed ELO leveling out to your true skill level, here's the amount of games you're looking at: 600+. I did a number crunch assuming you are always the better player on your team and play consistently at that level for all 600+ games.
I was driven to do this after a horrendous series of games trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Going 18/3 and losing is not the most fun. So there is hope! It's just 600 games away O.o
Umm, I actually did calculations with standard deviations for W/L ratios. If you can link me where Lyte has done that, I would love to see it.
We looked at this awhile ago, and it takes about 150 games to reach their true MMR rating for the average player; however, a very small percentage of players were outliers and needed up to 1000 games.
