Can I report for intentionally feeding if

  • They are splitpushing with no wards?

Well I guess I'm going to explain what champion and what he was doing.
I was unhappy with this Malphite from champion select. He didn't ban Malphite then when he got first pick he instalocked malphite and told me to trade him yorick. I never said I would trade him Yorick before that, and I don't even own Yorick. The only junglers I'm familiar with, as junglers, are Shyvana and Vi so Malphite wouldn't do me much good there.

We started out ahead, we picked up an early triple in our jungle because I saw their mid coming down to gank bot, our bot and mid were very fast to react to my pings and we were able to pick up the support jungle and mid. Later on when we were trying to pick up objectives we had way stronger team fight potential. (Malphite and vi as well as our adc being much more fed than their.)

He was playing split push malphite (already a wtf moment there.) He didn't participate in any teamfights (after we constantly said we needed him for the teamfights,) and he got caught all the time. (He didn't die all the time because I attempted to help him out+he has his ult to get away.) The person he was laning against had higher cs than him and was involved in every teamfight. He lost in cs while he was splitpushing the whole time...
  • Why don't you place wards if you see your allies are continually pushing dangerously far without them? You can tell them to not do that without wards, and you can tell them to place wards. But what you can absolutely control, is you placing wards yourself.

You might also want to place them as a team to avoid ambush.
  • In my bronze level games, split pushing can have it's advantage, but it seems like it's more about the more generic strategy of punish them for not being somewhere. If they send 5 bot, punish them for leaving top. Top won't make it to bot in time anyway, and make them pay for not having a resource there. I find games where we chase them around the map, we're always 20 seconds behind, but if we can get them to chase us, we usually win.

    Fun fact:
I got to Plat season 2 as support doing exactly this. Enemy Lee Sin jungle? Ward top tri-bush before minions spawn. Mid getting ganked all day? Ward his bot river. Protects him AND protects bot lane in case their mid wants to roam.

Same thing applies if some guy is split pushing. HELP HIM OUT. You'll win more.

I always thought the reason to split push was to gain? This is why I think that player would be reported for unskilled.
Oh, there are limits, and what you point out is a good example of when it doesn't work. If you have 2 people die, and you take a tower, that's worth it, as long as they don't capitalize on the 5v3.
