Competitive Tier List Update For Season 3

Hey guys! First update for the new year prepping for the start of Season 3 with the upcoming North American Qualifiers. The game has changed so much in this last few months but I think I finally got a good enough looking tier list in which I hope you find useful.

* Tier 1 - Evelynn, Amumu, Kha'Zix, Nunu, Lulu, Katarina, Elise, Cho'Gath, Ezreal, Nocturne, Lee Sin, Twisted Fate, Miss Fortune, Orianna, Ashe, Twitch, Anivia, Caitlyn, Olaf, Nidalee, Jayce, Maokai, Graves, Shen, Taric, Kog'Maw, Sona,

* Tier 2 -  Irelia, Malphite, Karthus, Gragas, Ryze, Jax, Darius, Akali, Rumble, Singed, Veigar, Xin Zhao, Riven, Morgana, Lux, Zed, Nautilus, Vladimir, Jarvan IV, Ahri, Dr. Mundo, Blitzcrank, Fiddlesticks, Master Yi, Corki, Alistar,

* Tier 3 -  Pantheon, Vayne, Leona, Cassiopeia, Talon, Xerath, Annie, Hecarim, Renekton, Rammus, Janna, Zyra, Kennen, Brand, Gangplank, Ziggs, Vi, Draven, Teemo, Kassadin, Syndra, Soraka, Garen, Swain, Galio, Varus, Trundle,

    lol ~ Nerf what? Isnt he nerfed enough? His quit is just good... Ppl just want to make him not viable

    For me, having his Q's ratio reduced to .9 or having the cooldown increased or having the mana cost increased would all be acceptable nerfs.

    Ezreals big thing was AS debuf on W. his kit is designed aroud kiting and poking but his W caused he didn´t have to. Now he must so it´s ok and he loses to most ADs in direct DPS (not mentioning Trinity nerf which acually hurts his kiting and chasing as well). People just want to nerf into oblivion, because -frankly- this is how this comunity works. His only redeeming quality is his strong early game (which you´d nerf) and his kiting potential (whihc you´d also nerf remember taht increasing CD on Q de-facto increases CD on ALL of his spells) and that´s just du***.

    Not doing ALL of them, but he can both kite and burst very well. The mana cost would be the most appealing thing for me, because currently he can spam it freely in lane without any serious repercussions. His passive combined with his ult can give him a 50% attack speed boost almost guaranteed in a teamfight. I don't think he needs to be nerfed to oblivion, just small enough so that there isn't a clear cut first place. 

    But that could be my ideal for a metagame getting to me: Hoping that there is no clear first place for any role. It may be impossible, but that's just my dream.

    3 of the top 6, you mean. Ezreal, Miss Fortune, Ashe, Caitlyn, Graves, and Kog'maw are up in tier 1 in that order. Ezreal, Caitlyn, and Graves all have escapes.

    I'm also wondering this.  With the rise in cost to attack speed, I thought having a built-in attack speed steroid would give her some value.  Plus, the range increase on her e is great for lane harass, and the mana cost reduction on her ult doesnt hurt either,

    As someone who played tristana when he first started LoL, I hate to say it. I saw this coming long ago.

    What makes tristana so weak has nothing to do with her kit, The fact is she is way too unreliable, she only works well with a handful of supports. And her early game has to go well for her to even be remotely useful, because of how weak she is mid game and how vital that point of the game is.

    Unlike say Vayne where all you have to do is survive and you outscale everyone, if trist doesn't do well early she is useless for the next 20 or so minutes and she's basically reduced to farming all game. And even if by some stroke of luck she gets to her late game. it just isn't as impressive as say vaynes raw damage output.

    It's pre rework kat syndrome, she needs a team built around her to be any good.

    Basically she is the biggest gamble in terms of ADC's, an all or nothing champ. Either you go big or go home and that's why a lot of people tend to shy away from her. She's just way too big a risk.

    It acually hutrs her even more then others ironicaly. She is completely dependent on her autos. MF, Corki, Graves, Ez, Varus have all spells to spice dmg up and Vayne, Kog, Twitch got better steroids (Sivir is somewhere between and Ashe has amazing utility.

    Tristanas kit has no AD scaling E has long CD and her W+R serves purely as def mechanism in most cases.

    Her laning got weaker (again thanks to no scaling, risky nature and more *in your face* spells on new generation champs) and forces you to postpone leveling of your Q.

    She is even more relian on items then other ADCs, you can usually jsut get BT+PD(or trinity on some) and let the kit to carry them. Tristanas kit won´t do a damn thing to her and she really needs PD+IE+LW to work propperly... ou IE got nerfed as well, gg.

    Atm only Ashe, Zyra is in T3 apparently (probably updated).

    You forgot Nami, she's tier 1 material imo, doing everything a support needs and her ult is redic.

    Nami is sitting pretty in Tier 5, don't quite know why though...
