He's so impressive, his passive is so great against the new AD-caster mid meta!, especially before he's 6, so good going toe-to-toe with melee bashers to get some last-hits... By the time he's 6 the enemy has already got an Hexdrinker. Lategame good luck getting some kills when you dive in the middle of 5 enemies with stuff like Bulwark and Mercurial Scimitar.

Mongol General: Conan! What is best in life?

Conan: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

Mongol General: That is good! That is good.

Not for a long time. He is OK and can do well (teir3 doesn´t mean you are absolute crap) but he is far from the beast he used to be.

The tier list seems right after watching the qualifiers. Except that Urgot yo.

Actually, MRN built their entire comp around Urgot, which is what lower tier champions are supposed to be.

But Ashe still seems high to me.

Preparing for the climb is scary.

Ashe provides initation/pick off potential/hard cc from an AD carry position, plus she is a strong kiter.

How is Olaf T1? I thought he is easily kited when his Ult is on cooldown? His true damage doesn't scale well late game.

basically he scales incredibly well with all cheap stats (AD, HP, CDR), and naturally gains expensive / desireable stats from his kit. (attackspeed, resist, armor penetration, lifesteal, spellvamp).

hes one of the best 2v1 laners, a staple pick for standard top lanes, and his jungle is stronger now than ever before.

the true damage doesnt scale but 340 base damage is far above the norm especialy for a 5 second cooldown and ignores all defense. (just 2 swings and youve got a cho ultimate.)

Are you dumb? True damage scales on their armor, technically speaking. If you they 50% reduction you effectively dealt 680 physical damage to the enemy. Also Olaf can perma-Q people with CDR and Bruisers are supposed to fall off late game.

Wow, I don't know who create this rank, but it's so bad.

At the moment Talon (T3) Amumu (T1) and Evelyn (T1) have highest win ratio, so how they are so low tier. You've even put overpowered Rumble on tier 2.

Fiora - tier 4... is that another joke? Fiora is one of worst champions created in LoL. Noone use her even in Black Cleaver meta she's just underpowered due to her ultimate which kills her (she starts ult, you just go to tower).

I just want to know what you've used to create this rank... you look at fullbuilds that aren't possible to finish, so Ez is T1 cuz of end game instead of T5, cuz his games end about 20-30min?

From T5 i agree only with Tryn, Shaco and Heimer, but where is Ezreal, Rumble or Vayne.

You obviously don't realize that tier 1 is the highest tier and that tier 5 is the lowest tier *facepalm*

  • #271 LordDaniero

Well I though that if tier goes up, champ is stronger just like with runes...

Honest mistake, but no. Usually tier lists run from Tier 1 (Strongest) to Tier 5 (Nerfed Eve)

So you think tier 5 is the best tier and you agree with Heim and Trynd being in it? Please post more. You could potentially be the most amusing guy I've met on this site.

    @LordDaniero

Win ratio has nothing to do with solo queue win percentage.

Shen has around a 45% or so winrate in solo queue.  By that logic, he is underpowered by solo queue players like you.

Being competitively viable and being viable in solo queue are two different things.

I wouldnt have said anything, but you think Tryn, Heimer, Shaco would be tier 1? O.o

Another important note here is that this is COMPETITIVE tier list So in a coordinated team of 5 where each knows what they are doing and how to counter others

think of this in a Pro persepective...

I agree with most everything here, but I can't help but have a couple of inquiries regarding sudden place changes with certain champions.

    1) Yorick in tier 4 (this may not be 'sudden' but it's up for discussion so here goes). I hardly ever see Yorick played anymore simply for the fact that his lack of versatility, as well as that "intense gameplay" feeling you get from playing something meatier like Darius or Jax, make him a somewhat boring champion. IMO that doesn't really make him bad... just unpopular. As far as I know he hasn't had any real significant nerfs over the past however long and even still whenever I see him he tends to be a very powerful top lane, with combined sustain and harass from his Q to last him a lifetime (once he gets a philo :P), not to mention his ult that adds another ranged carry to your team's arsenal in group fights. Idk I guess he's sort of outclassed by newer champions since his lack of CC and mid-game diminishes his design, but nevertheless I think he should at least be in the middle of tier 3, if not the bottom of 2. I'm not saying he's amazing but he definitely shouldn't be that low.

    2) Swain in tier 3. I'm not saying this isn't the right place for him, it's just that in terms of viability in this meta I really think he has more potential to flourish in the competitive scene than the likes of Syndra or Kassadin. From what I understand the current mid-lane meta is about having some form of protection/disengage from incoming ganks tied in with abilities w/ amazing range and great harass. For example, Orianna can use her ball for lane control/shield/slow/etc., TF uses his Q to harass and CS at a great range as well as his W for stun/mana regen/aoe slow, and Lux can slow/snare while also harassing for lots of damage. Swain has functional CC for gank prevention (even though it can easily be thwarted by a simple pivot at times) as well as functional harass and functional sustain. However, I've found that Swain scales amazingly into mid and late-game, being able to withstand all kinds of focus with the help of RoA (for early-game) and Rylai's/Hourglass/Abyssal (mid/late-game). In season 3 I feel that the necessity for a deathcap has been severely reduced which allows for select mages to build much tankier nowadays, and I feel that Swain is one of those champions. I can see where he's outclassed by higher tier mid-laners but I just don't feel he should be behind... Syndra... *shudders*

Welp, that's all I've got for now. Feel free to comment, y'all. I'm not trying to say I'm right or that Elementz is a dumbass or he's wrong... I'm also not saying these are key issues in the game right now. I just feel that these champions are headed towards the "lost and forgotten" section and would just like to... speak on their behalf, for lack of better words. I'll most likely be back with more queries :P
