Remember that this is largely opinion and it is not based on the best jungle PICKS since that is highly objective and subject to opinion. This list is taking into account the potential of characters to jungle on their own regards to make measuring their capabilities easier.
Tier 3 – Jayce, Gragas, Singed, Twitch, Galio, Fizz, Pantheon, Renekton, Rumble, Fiora, Twisted Fate, Janna, Blitzcrank, Kennen, Taric, Sion, Ezreal, Soraka, Karthus, Cassiopeia, Lulu, Ziggs, Leona, Heimerdinger, Brand, Yorick, Eve, Mordekaiser
For tiers 1 and 2 - the placement is more important towards indicating "who is better" but less so for tier 3. In tier 3, just think of it in brackets as the champions here are more flawed and harder to argue. You can say that the higher tier 3 champions are better than the lower tier 3 though. For Tier 4 and 5 it's pretty much wishy washy.
Some people seem to be getting confused with the ranking. It should be obvious by seeing who gets the S scores that S means higher than A.
S scoring is just some video game thing used to say things like “Oh man you are amazing” etc etc. It’s most commonly used in arcade type games.
The things that have changed this time around
Dr Mundo - He is now number 1. I'm going to start shifting some emphasis on transition (perhaps more so in the next patch) since people have been requesting that. Only a few champions have been changed around this iteration based on that. Also some junglers will also gain points based on "carry" power. Dr Mundo has both over Lee Sin as he will have a better late game and can carry a team better than Lee Sin because of that.
Jarvan IV - Moved down for the same reason Dr Mundo moved up. Jarvan is a lot more difficult to itemize than Nautilus and Maokai and he's very much more reliant on those items. While he's strong in his own right a crippled Jarvan will do far less than a crippled Nautilus and at least Nautilus's ult may not backfire on his own team.
Tryndamere - I've been using him more and yes he too can carry (albeit in his special way) and he can destroy some jungle match ups. His glaring weakness is his first jungle clear, his lack of "true" sustain and his reliance on crit. Still he snowballs out of control naturally and insanely if he gets a bit ahead.
Kayle - Same reason as the others. Her transition gets her points and I would actually say she's a really good early solo queue pick seeing as you can dupe your opponents as to where you may go so they can't counter you. She can transition into a soft-carry from the jungle or a hyper carry if fed - or a support if crippled. So needless to say her transition gained her love.
Singed - Well I got my assed kicked by actual jungle singed players and not just "Oh imma try this" players. I noticed it's still pretty weak in several aspects but it's so farm happy and speeds out of control if left unchecked. Singed then goes Singed mode and never dies so trying to counter him becomes stupid.
Nunu - Oh god they buffed him. I've been banning him in a games now. He's not overpowered but he's so damn annoying. It takes a team to stop him. The buffs didn't really fix his issues if not made his invasion powers a lot stronger. His issues of "the jungle mobs scale and I can't kill them" are still there. He doesn't want to rank up his consume since each rank doesn't really do anything for him and his other abilities will suffer significantly and thus his jungle will be slower. I'm sure some people may be willing to try out a bruiser Nunu that maxes Q and then W and leaves E at one but it doesn't feel right to sacrifice Nunu's ganking tool. He went up because the Visionary change is actually really damn good and his consume being bumped up another 1 damage allows it to one shot early camps again.
Jayce - Well in short order he was super disappointing. He can do some stuff but nothing special and while some say "omg his E is so good to gank with your teammates" well Gangplank already does that but better and easier. Jayce is honestly nothing special in the jungle and he has severe health sustain issues throughout even after his first clear. He does have one big advantage though. He can CARRY the game for his team even from the jungle. Sure the jungle is probably the weakest "lane" for him and sure he gets beat but if you were to get farmed then you can build pure damage and use your range to your advantage. The other jungle carries suffer because they're all melee and will get shattered once they enter a fight but Jayce can just enter ranged mode and pew pew all day.
ALSO NO Nautilus nerfs did not make him bad or anything. I don't know why I got a ton of messages about "OMG NAUTILUS GOING DOWN IN TIER!" Honestly he's probably looking for more nerfs at the moment. As a pick he's too powerful.
