At the start of this weekend, after getting placed Silver 5 a week prior and slowly climbing up to s2, I told myself that I'm going to use this weekend to dominate ranked and get to gold. Long story short I went insane. I went something like 28-7 from Silver 2 to what is now gold 1 (don't quote me on those numbers it was a very random guess, though close), and here I am nearly in plat promos.
However, I'm starting to fear that I'm unexperienced. I started bronze in season 3, barely made gold last season, and now I'm pushing plat. My stats are showing that I'm climbing because I deserve it, it's just the closer I get to plat (which plat players are all what I'd call "unexplored territory" for me), the more I fear I'm going to fall off. But I'd love to push for diamond and all my diamond friends say mechanically I could easily be diamond, I just don't know if I'm ready.
SO. Are there any words of wisdom you could give me? I personally think I'm going to struggle because me adc play is exceptional but every other lane other than mainly support and lissandra top are mediocre. Anything you have to say is appreciated, I'm just looking for a little guidance!

Branch out, learning to play other characters/roles will improve your mechanics/decisionmaking.
Watch pro streams (Not the entertainment streamers like Trick2G or SivHD.), copy the pro builds/runes/masteries. Trying to make them up on your own will only get you into bad habits you will be forced to unlearn once you breach diamond. Get more runepages, having several pages for your main role(s) is important.
Otherwise, what you are doing right now is working, keep doing it, keep playing. As you keep climbing this quickly you will eventually hit your "skill level" and you will be forced to improve in order to climb further.
Be willing to take a back seat. When you know you're just a bit over you head, don't be arrogant. You probably AREN'T the best guy in the lobby anymore. Be willing to listen to calls from other people, be willing to support if necessary.
All that jazz. Basically let yourself be carried lol
Climbing is all about effective games. If you win 70% of the time you will climb 8 times more quickly than with a 52.5% win rate. If you want to climb then swallow your pride/lp/someotherexcuse and dodge games you might lose. You can dodge a lot to get a 'winning team' and still save time waiting for the dodge timer to tick out than playing losing games. Heck, wouldn't that be the perfect time to train your surf?
Stop playing once you lose one or two games in a row and call it a day.
Try again next day.
Pay no more attention to your team than necessary. If they fall they will drag you down with them. Guy being all spammy and offensive in champ select already? Dodge or put him on your block/mute list if you have a bad feeling. Dodging doesn't hurt you if you only do it once a day.

DODGE IF YOU HAVE SOMEBODY WITH "LEE SIN" OR "RIVEN" OR ANY ABBREVIATIONS OF THEM IN THEIR NAME.
Just keep trying. The worst case scenario is that you just stop climbing. At this point you can either practice on normals or keep trying while your mmr decreases a little bit.
Just beware of the platin elo hell as most people call it :D
There are just so many flamers and ragers in low plat not even bronze was that bad ^^
Next to every match I played in Platin was won because somebody threw the game.

Do you have a smurf? smurfs are great ways to share the ranked burden with since typically you won't care as much about it so its less stress and you will still be playing at the level of your main.

this. You will notice at some point, even if you still win, your will start dying more because enemy start punishing your mistakes , however subtle they are. That your decision making / shot calling needs improving since enemy stopped your baron call / you lost drake because you ganked top / mispositioned because you didn't have proper vision etc. You will just stop winning all games in streaks and need to try harder to actually win, which will positively impact your playstyle. Of course, you might drop some LP/divisions. Especially if you win a lot of consecutive games, because your games played factor (The somewhere anciently called "K Factor") that makes the placement games so important actually rises if you go on huge streaks because the game stops believing you are at your true elo and lets you climb to it faster.
This effect can put you a little too high after such winstreaks and you will go back to your elohell division once again. But gaining rank is a journey of learning, if you travel too fast to learn what you should on the way, you will be forced to re-run some parts over and over again.

Actually the jungler made the correct call to leave her to her fate and snowball the Kassadin mid, it won us the game. Nobody bashed the Riven either, we all muted her :D which brings me to my pro tip: Mute everyone who flames. I don't give a shit if they are "having a bad game"- If they start to become unresponsive and toxic just mute and concentrate on your own play.

My friends always question me when I scream and sound like a bear getting his first gazms but that kind of self rewarding makes the game far more enjoyable and helps you from only seeing the bad side of things.
Also if you're on a few game losing streak but still feel hyped and are sure you're not tilting go for that another game.
I tilt easily but also have been on losing streaks that have been broken by that one more game because I channeled that rage into even more hype.
The hype is real and it's effects are real.
