    woah there,

You could disagree with what he said, you could prove him wrong with examples, or give counter-arguments, but the fact of the matter is that Hashinshin made people think about things, that's all he ever tried to do, and he achieved it in his own way...

He didn't try to make people think, he abused the fact that he was allowed to write articles on here to whine and complain about things. There was no goal or mission other than to complain, often over exaggerating and making stuff up, about something he did not like. He even wrote an article complaining about a pet peeve, just to complain about stuff!  I for one am glad he is gone from here, glitch abusing douchebag, hopefully whoever they find to replace him will bring thoughtful and well written articles to this great site.

alright, Butch_Flowers, lets keep this civil here. We know he has done some pretty nasty stuff and wrote some ragey articles, that doesn't warrant you the rights to consider your opinion to be the truth.

In the end, was he always wrong? Not always. There were times where he hit problems dead accurate and really got myself and some others thinking "Wow, why is it so? how did it end up this way? In what way could we solve the problem?". Complaining is one way to reveal a problem, albet not the best but I think the readers could be a bit more mature and pick up the key information in the articles instead of every single word or phrase.

cant believe my possibly first forum post is gonna be in this one, but I always did have a lot of respect for Hashinshin: even after this incident. Not gonna say I agree with cheating and not apologizing, but I do understand his frustration from reading the twitter section. Nonetheless the punishment is deserved.

My biggest complaint though, is that if what i am reading is correct, Stonewall made this incident public before ANY public announcement by RoG? Then I wonder, why is there no action taken towards Stonewall's actions? if there wasn't an immediate announcement and/or it was meant to be kept personal and not widely publicized, then what he is doing is really just publicly attacking someone. I'd like to see what do moderators think about this issue that still is here, as it has spread widely over the internet and now is used to attack Hashinshin.

I'd think it be cool if you would do an extra analysis with target having:

    1. 30 + scaling MR + scaling MR glyphs

    2. 30 + flat MR glyphs

    3. 30 + MR per level

    4. 30 + MR per level + flat MR glyphs

thing is its just about 43-75 MR or so and its quite common so i guess it might have been an very realistic analysis. (Considering all ranged ADCs have the MR glyphs you prob will be looking at 43 or 54 MR.)

anyhow, great analysis an mind freshing.

Darius's R does not have the HIGHEST DPS, it has one of the highest bursts in this game. Jax's R does not have the highes DPS, Voli's R does. in a 1v1 Situation Voli's R will deal more damage than Jax's R's Passive (considering max AS) until the 78th auto attack made by jax which is 31 more auto's than Voli have to make to reach the same amount of damage.

I don't ever find Darius toxic, its very possible to shut him down, takes practice but it is in no way annoying to do (like shaco) or impossible (rengar). Also, to bust the common myth that "if darius takes all the kills, he is hurting his own team". this is in no way true. If darius is capable of smashing R 4-5 times in a team fight, thats effectively over 3400 true damage dealt which is a whole hefty amount. + if the opponent can be killed faster if he chains his R, that means your own team takes less damage which means you'll have an easier time winning. remember this game was never about kills, ADC/APC only needs CS, kills are a luxury for them.

alright the thing about Voli is that sure, his kit ties together nicely, but the scalings are ALL OVER THE PLACE.

to begin with his Q, his flip which is his main source of CC and a nice amount of speed for chasing and escaping. scales with your total AD along with a mini bonus. scales off AD

W which is supposed to be his main damage spell grants attack speed and a huge nuke when the opponent is low on health. scales off health

his E is meant for jungling and a small slow after your Q in order for u to stick better. scales off AP

his R is the big thing. A whooping 150 dmg buff in an AoE is like an empowered ionic spark that procs every hit. to add to that it lasts 15 seconds which is a hefty amount of time. scales off attack speed and AP.

Now lets look at his kit as a whole. Yes the abilities synergize perfectly together: Q into E while with R on to keep smacking till they are low and W for the kill. yes yes it works perfectly together but once you look at it again along with the scaling you'll see something awfully wrong: what the heck is this guy meant to do???  Olaf is supposed to be the carry hunter with his perma axe, true damage and "cannot be CCed" ultimate while W +passive allows him to duel ADCs. Jax is meant to be the best duelist by doing Physical and magical damage along with steroids. Leona provides pin point lock down on one dude while making sure the others don't get a chance to escape.

But, what the heck is voli supposed to do? he has THE BEST damage steroid as his Ultimate, A POWERFUL executioner, some decent CC and a passive that keeps him standing. So lets sum up the stats he need to perform well: AS, Health, CDR, Resists. now you maysay u can get a nice build with all of these stacked together but note that Voli's R is not on short CD nor is it a toggle and the problem arises, how am I supposed to use my W if i dun have my R to shred ppl? how am I supposed to do damage on my normals atks to shred people if i keep building health? he doesn't really fit into any role except a tanky bruiser with excellent damage from R, but at the same time his WHOLE KIT REQUIRES HIS R to work which is a huge problem for Voli. he has wide spread stat requirements to perform nicely, thus a number buff wont make him anywhere close to balanced. the only way he'll retain continual balance is by focusing his kit into 1-2 stats.
