Generally ward up so the ADC can get on with their farming in peace, and keep an eye on mid for ganks and buffs in the enemy jungle. I'd be careful about doing that with ADCs like Koggy though :O
If you REALLY want to catch the enemy by surprise, roam up top. I've secured so many kills by suddenly appearing at top lane out of nowhere :P

The one time I had success against it was with Garen, where I just built armour and ignore him :P
