Stop being so Biased! Biases you should know
10/20/2012 5:56:37 PMBiases differ among languages btw. Western languages have the most "blame game" thinking pattern while a lot of eastern languages don't.

It isn't my fault
10/20/2012 5:46:56 PMThe problem with admitting you are wrong is I see a lot of people who actually go all like. "Sorry guys. I really screwed this up for you." One time I even had a guy say, "Sorry for wasting your time, a competent team like you guys would have done very well with a better ad carry." Now that's great, but then you get that one guy, or two guys if they are in a duo, who start harking on the poor guy. They just drill it in with insults and everything, you name it. This just demoralizes the team further since the rest of the team except the guy who screwed up starts defending the guy who apologized. Then it becomes a fight between the duo and the other 2 guys. It's very normal, and almost better personally for the player to become defensive simply because even if he feels bad the people who yell at him will yell at him anyways. At least if you deny the fact you're bad you can walk away without feeling like shit, since most people who do apologize take it personally I find.

Any tips for ranked and dealing with frustration?

Try and find such infos, to improve your supporting role.
Just try and play any of the supports, and don't limitate yourself to "most fun" supports (blitz or leona, looking at you), sometimes picking a soraka is game breaking (your ashe will be strong lategame, and graves won't snowball on her, for instance). Long story short, try and read these links, try and apply them through picking an appropriate support considering your carry, your team comp, and ennemies, and if you didn't learn a support yet, still try him in ranked. Sometimes it's better to play unperfectly the perfect support for a situation, rather than playing perfectly an unperfect support. (and with the time, experience will come)
Whatever the situation is on the botlane (you feed or snowball), once you get your second gp/10 and boots, just buy shitloads of wards and roam. Gank mid-lane, ward their buffs, gank top (especially with cc champs like janna), and help your other lanes. Try and do "one gank, one min babysitting my carry" or sth.
If you want to bear an oracle, try and stack a bit of hp when possible, to increase your survivability. If you play a not sustaining support in a "physical" team, get an early zekes, this aura is awesome.
Things like those.I rarely feel comfortable leaving the AD carry alone, most of the time they I end up saving their butts more than once. But I guess it's an idea, I haven't tried it yet.

I'm a jungler myself and while I do pick around my team, it's confort I pick around, not straight up synergy. Jarvan's ult might be amazing for morgana's and Wukongs and Annies, but if I know how the comps looking, and I'd feel safer picking Trundle, I shall. If I feel my team has few agressive happy players I'll pick something less Niche, and I love my niche junglers.
Like said above, focus on playing well, not on teaming well. A Soraka or Janna is well enough, but if you don't like them, don't play them. If I get pigeon holed to play Alistar or Chogath, who'm just make me so dizzy I can't even see, I simply don't play them. I'll pick up my trusty Naut, my hardened Lee, or trusted Trundle. Grab up that deadly Olaf or Stealthy Rengar.
Remember, Communication is key here! Tell your team what you're warding and when. If you intend to roam, gank, steal, ward, dragon, baron, tower dive or tower kill, TELL YOUR TEAM. Doesn't matter if they all put you on ignore, but Information is key here. A single ping to get out with a "Malz is at blue" warning is more than enough. There is a reason MIA's are called out and so wanted. There is a reason why junglers count down the timers to buffs and objectives. Tell them when you're buying Aura items, when you're ultimate is up, and when your summoners are ready. Ping a champion when you're to gank, tell them when you're not pinging your not ganking, so they don't expect you to commit when you go in to throw a random Nunu Snowball or Jayce Q to harass someone away.
If the enemy doesn't know what you're doing, you've an advantage. If your team doesn't know what your doing, you're doomed.
The not pinging not ganking thing I haven't thought of. I'm def. gonna do that, so many times I'm just passing by and the laner blows both summoners and what not and doesn't even get the kill cause I have to little mana or something.
I'll practise, its just frustrating since normals are on a whole differnt level. Once I roll over people in draft normals consistently then i go ranked i just feel stifled.
And it's not letting me quote anymore...
@gineric84 - I dunno, I'd have to disagree. I don't rage, I fill in roles, and I try my best. Not much else I can do.
@Kharai - No internal damage mitigation. Leona has W, Taric has W, Alistar has R.

Any tips for ranked and dealing with frustration?
9/7/2012 1:14:26 PMLearned blitz, and for some reason now he's banned everygame with Alistar. Guess I gotta save up for Leona. I might play Lulu, the problem I have with Leona is she can't disengage well, like Taric, or Alistar.
Thanks for the reply guys.Posted in: Bronze -
Why I don't like Ahri
8/22/2012 5:40:30 PMQuote from Zentari2238 »
Yeah yeah, saying she is bellow Kennen's and Akali's mobility while she has a triple flash makes it kinda hard for your point to be taken seriously.
I'd have to partially agree. Ahri's mobility is way higher then Kennen or Akali. Akali can't even escape, she can only jump to enemies, which is differnt from true mobility. Kennen's E does not last that long. Trust me Ahri can cover more ground on Rs then I can on E using Kennen, I've had it done to me countless times.
But I can take the other stuff that Op says seriously, just that argument on moblity, like this Zentari guy said, is seriously flawed.Posted in: General Discussions -
New Morgana and Miss Fortune Splash Art
8/18/2012 8:32:53 PMI'd be fine with that. But she's just plain ugly. Katarina is cruel beauty, old eve is cruel beauty, Morgana just looks like shes constipated and possessed by Belial or something.
