So it's not just me? I'm sorry if people have already complained about this recently, but I didn't see another thread on this issue. My bad.

Woke up this morning at 8:00-ish to my iPhone having a seizure. Reign of Gaming had been emailing me a "daily digest" once every minute since about 1:00 AM. I had to unsubscribe to get them to stop. Does anyone know what the hell caused that? I haven't messed with my settings since I signed up like nine months ago.

Agreed, Hourglass is core on him. Banner isn't bad, but I wouldn't call it rush-worthy, and the usefulness of its active is situational, maybe even cheesy in my opinion. The more AP you get the more HP and damage your turrets get, and I believe your turrets get some of your armor and resistance too, so Hourglass and Abyssal both allow you to survive a little longer and increase your turrets' durability and damage so that they don't get AoE'd to death while they're saving your ass. Depending on how well I'm doing and the enemy laner's primary damage source I either rush Hourglass + Tear (against AD) or Deathcap + Chalice (against AP). If you go with Hourglass I would suggest getting some form of CDR afterward.
Keep in mind that three of your turrets can destroy Dragon and Baron if the jungler tanks it for them. Heim's ability to hold a position is strong, and I've come out of seemingly bad situations with multikills because the enemy team didn't respect my turrets and decided to fight us at dragon/baron pit. Be sure to place your turrets within range of each other, because alone they are somewhat weak.
Finally, don't pick Heim into Ziggs or Syndra unless you want to have a bad time. He's best against assassins whose trading/attack patterns involve diving into your turrets, so Zed, Kass, Fizz, Diana, etc.

Her interactions with Caitlyn are less than flirtatious, or even friendly. "Care for a spot of tea? Or how about a spot of punch in the face!" "Nice shot, cupcake." She insults her, threatens her, all while making fun of her accent. She makes fun of Jayce the same way, really.

I don't think Vi was intended to seem lesbian on release, her character was designed freely of Caitlyn, and honestly I feel like the whole partner thing was tacked on last minute to anchor her in Piltover. She's a crafty hotheaded criminal turned loose cannon (uh... loose gauntlet?) cop that puts the punk in steampunk. I feel like everyone calling her a lesbian just because of her tough attitude and different appearance seems stereotypical, and I'm surprised no one finds it insulting. Then Riot released debonair Vi, so maybe they're taking the community's fanon and running with it.

I wouldn't say that. If anything I'd be quicker to take him jungle than in lane right now, personally. His early game is such garbage for his late game power spike, and he's completely overshadowed by Kog and Trist at all stages of the game.
On jungle Jinx, it can work, not sure I'd want to do it in yoloQ though. Here's Stonewall: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZK3WqEPX7sM&list=UUz31TmY8O8NWvNGE-3PTbCQ

Right, obviously. I should've gone on to say that winning lane is a very easy thing to do as support Naut against some matchups, but I didn't.

I practically mained Naut support for a while, lol. Personally I love it, and I feel like it got stronger this season with the introduction of Relic Shield. His problem, as stated, is his gold reliance, BUT if you win lane it's not a problem. I feel like his real issue is that he struggles really hard in some matchups, and those champs are popular right now. Morgana and Leona specifically can dump on him pretty hard, and I would assume Braum could too.
In the end Leona does do a lot of things better, and honestly I hate her mindless kit design.

I may be biased, because a lot of my favorite champions are late gamers, but I like how the meta currently stands.
I feel like just a little while ago early game was all that mattered and I rarely had any fun playing the champions I wanted to play. If the enemy team had a bunch of FotM early game champs you just lost, they'd take objectives in front of you and you either had to watch or die trying to stop them. Now I don't like turtling or stalling, and man do I hate Tristana and Ryze, but I like how early power no longer equals win, and I don't feel like late game power alone equals win either. In my experience my friends and I do best with a little mix of early and late power, like an early game jungler and mid to support the late game focused side lanes, or strong lanes who won't require much help from a late game jungler. It opens up a strategy of using early game champions to carry the late game champs until their builds reach fruition. Focus too much on early and you run the risk of falling off, go all late game and you might get stomped before it matters. Focusing solely on early or late game seems boring to me, and while everything is tipping toward the latter right now I feel like it's a little refreshing I guess. If Riot can tip it back just a bit I feel like it would be close to perfect. At least at my elo.
