I've been saying Sion can support since day 1 of his rework. I think I even made a thread about it. In bot lane you want to push, which he can do very well with his E. He has peel with his Q, he can be effective without CS, he brings a lot of CC, and if he dies in the middle of a team fight he can still potentially put a lot of damage down since his passive does 10% max health damage on hit.

Top tier support? Probably not, but he may be better than Taric at this point. He's definitely at least as good as Gragas and other similar off meta support picks.

I'd honestly pick Vlad into nothing but if you really like him I'd pick him against ranged and the worst melee characters. Jax can be pretty much picked always IMO but I guess characters like rock jesus or susan can make him worthless.

Completely off topic but who's Susan?

Champ seems really strong right now. Didn't want to pick her up, but now I feel I almost have to. She's got wave clear, mobility, sustain, ridiculously safe laning, and great all in potential. Even after the nerfs, I think she may be one of the best all around mid laners in the game right now. Thoughts?

The solution is simple. Games with disconnects should only affect the losing team's MMR half as much as they normally would. LP would still be lost as normal, and the MMR loss is still significant enough that it would encourage people to play it out instead of just trying to get someone to d/c in order to preserve the team's MMR. To double up on that point, you could even add a report option for someone trying to encourage people to d/c in order to halve the MMR loss. If a person is found on the chat log saying "c'mon man you fed, so you should d/c so we don't lose so much MMR" then that person would be banned.

Is it perfect? No. But it's still far better than the system we have now.

    Really dude?

    http://www.reignofgaming.net/news/30792-context-on-smite-range-changes-nemesis-draft-q-a

One of the reasons behind that change is the belief that Chilling Smite is making skillshot/free targeted offensive dash junglers (such as Lee Sin, Jarvan, Amumu etc) more reliable in early ganks than they should be.

I also don't appreciate your attitude, to be frank. You can talk to me like an intelligent human being. No need to make comments like that.

Confusing Chilling smite w/ Warrior bro. Warrior is because ALL AD junglers are generally better than those that aren't AD. Warrior is still stupidly efficient. 5 AD is nothing...

First step of bringing junglers into line, is reducing the problems that certain items create. Once those items are an a good spot, then you are start to buff under performing champs and nerf over performing champs.

Edit: Also remember when Warrior almost did 10% Increased Phsyical Damage? Never went live but that would have been hilarious XD

Okay first off, if all the other jungle items are mediocre then why didn't they buff them to be as good as warrior instead of being happy with trying to keep them all at a low power level? Secondly, if AD Junglers as a class are too powerful then obviously the strongest champions in that class are generally going to be the greatest offenders when it comes to abusing an item that synergizes specifically with that class. Lee Sin and J4 are widely accepted to be the best junglers in the game and their pick/ban rate in competitive and ranked play reflects that. It's obvious that their synergy with their item is too good. So how can they be excused from blame for getting it nerfed and shafting the rest of the junglers that use it?

It's like trying to excuse Warwick from blame over the nerf to Skirmishers. It's obvious whose fault it is so why does everyone want to pussy foot around it?

Also, has anyone else noticed that every single jungle item has been nerfed? Ranger's used to give lowered smite CD, Skirmisher's used to give on hit true damage that scaled with attack speed, and the latest smite nerf is directed at Stalker's, which has already been nerfed once before . Even the ever shitty poacher's got hit by the +100 gold cost all jungle items got. And why did they increase the jungle item cost again? Oh right, early game aggressive junglers. I wonder who that's referring to.

     snip

It's okay to be wrong, but the fail fish comment is what pissed me off. However, I'm not one to hold a grudge so let's move past that.

Personally, I just feel jungle is weak this season, so seeing nerfs like the smite change and the warrior change upset me greatly. Is Warrior strong? Yes. But what is the alternative? When Athene's got nerfed, Morello became dominant, and after that got nerfs there are still so many viable build paths for AP mids. AD junglers get one viable build path. One. They have to take whatever they can get and be thankful for it.What makes it more grievous is that champions like Fizz and Ahri immediately get attention to address stuff like the removal of DFG (while other DFG users were assured they'd be addressed within a patch or two), yet there has been no word that Riot will even attempt to compensate this in anyway.

I know you're a jungler just like me, and as such I consider you a brother who has doubtlessly taken a million flames from incompetent players just as all of us in the brotherhood have. So considering this unique experience, how can you not recognize when you are being shown a clear lack of respect? That's what I currently perceive and have perceived ever since I first saw this red post before the preseason even started

The pill to swallow is that jungling will be riskier, harder, and less dominant than Season 4. Jungler game impact in S4 was of-the-charts high (junglers run games, right now) and it will feel like a knee-capping.

This may be controversial statement, but I honestly think the people behind balancing the season 5 jungle don't respect the role. Whether it's conscious or subconscious, I can't say, but it seems clear as day to me. A lot of people can't read between the lines, so let me spell it out for you. When Morello said jungle needs to be "harder", that implies season 4 jungle was too easy. When he said it needs to be riskier, that implies he thinks season 4 jungle didn't need to take very many risks. And when he says jungle needs to be less dominant, that implies jungle players need to matter less in games.

    I also remember saying this:

In essence, I was like, "Yeah! I get to learn the new jungle!", but now I'm like, "Why bother? He's just going to nerf anything remotely good that emerges from the jungle.

I was right, but I'm not happy about that fact one tiny little bit. I know people are going to say I'm overreacting, but I honestly don't care anymore. This isn't an isolated occurrence. I've been keeping score. Devourer was strong and brought in TF, Lulu, and a wide range of on-hit junglers. True variety and what do they do? They nerf it. Then they nerf leash mechanics to kill it completely from competitive viability. Now they're nerfing smite range to make it harder to gank, the one thing junglers are supposed to excel at, and they want to nerf Warrior on top of it. The message being sent is clear: Jungle may never be allowed to be too relevant. Who cares if you have 10 kills as jungle? You get to be tied for lowest level in the game because you didn't farm at the right time. Meanwhile, if you're in a lane and kill your enemy laner(s) 3 times, now you get to shit on the entire map and be 2 levels up on everyone else. If you don't see why that's fucked up then you're blinder than Lee.

I find it highly annoying myself. Nerfing warriors is completely unnecessary, they shouldve buffed the other jungle items instead...

I can kind of live with the smite nerf even though we will go back to the Rangers farmfest game again. J4 getting nerfed is fine and deserved cause he is in the top spot for a while now. Getting these general nerfs out feels like Riot doesn't like junglers being able to decide games...

I hope they revert the Warriors enchantment change.

What about Lee? This guy has had a handicapped parking space reserved in the top tier for far too long (and he's been there more consistently and for longer stretches of time than J4). He distorts the entire jungle meta simply by existing. He's just about in every competitive game. People complain about Shaco effect because when he's picked he either stomps completely or is used by people who don't know how to use him and they get demolished. Lee is the Shaco effect x 1000. Main difference is he's actually popular and he's actually a solid champion even without all the cheesy plays you can make. Then everyone just brushes it off as if it isn't a big deal or it isn't true.

This is how I always end up feeling after having a discussion about Lee:

So whatever, don't nerf Lee. Fine. Whatever. I don't care. Can they just not nerf every other AD jungler because they don't like what this one guy and maybe one other jungler is doing?
