Release Rama was at 80%
Considering URF Sona was "only" at 77%, I really want to see, what kind of insanity was that...
Has anyone else noticed since late S2, early S3, League's patch notes always feature issues and balance design problems more than any other MOBA?
It might come as obvious to others but... I really think it speaks volumes that I don't feel when reading any other games of the same genre notes.
Feels overly hostile and bitter.
You are one of those "glass is half-empty" people, amirite?
I see consistent work to make it more balanced and game IS getting more balanced over time, regardless of situational f***-ups (like Azir's overnerf)
If spirits proc on-hit effects and can crit, it will be mind-bendingly OP, especially with W. 8 spirits + you with W actve = ludicrious % of max HP. Per auto. As True damage... Then Add BotRK... Then add ludicriously fast Shiv stacking...
That's actually pretty similar in principle to the concept I had a while ago, except much stronger.
Now Veigar's and Zilean's kits are at least balanceable. They can shorten delays if they feel like it. Before there was no room to play there, Veigar's E was instant, Zilean's bombs were just placed on someone and that was it.
Vi's ult, for as much flak as it gets, only affects one person, and even that person has SOME options. Spell shields, untargetability, Zhonya's. Not much, but still something. Also, Vi can be pulled in uncomfortable positions with mobility moves before she catches up to you.
While that is true, the same can be said of other champions and ultimates, and those never got stopped, even when they reached LCS level. Its not just that her ult is terrible design, its that it has terrible design and Poppy is underplayed, which basically gives them free reign to do whatever they want to do. Other champions would need the same treatment, but sadly they are played by too many champions for Riot to simply change them without sustaining losses.
But that also means that they can do literally whatever they want with Poppy. Even change her from a bruiser/tankbuster to a tank, which is not just not part of her identity, but also doesnt make sense with her E.
No. Not a single ulti is as badly designed as Poppy's.
4 people on enemy team cannot do absolutely anything against ulting Poppy, other than run.
You can CC ulting Kayle or Tryn. You can damage ulting Olaf. Poppy? Nada.
And the reason Poppy is underplayed is because of ulti other parts of the kit have to be kept down on purpose, leaving Poppy in not very strong state overall.
How is it that much worse than trynd's? Or Kayle's? Or Karthus' global assassination if you are low?
I already addressed Kayle and Tryn. Karthus' ult can be spell shielded/Zhonya'd/dodged with untargetability skills/Zil ulted/Kayle ulted/Poppy ulted on someone else/CC'd out of channel if he casts it alive...
Idk why people are mad she's getting reworked. Her kits toxic right now and allows her to build full damage and bulldoze your team without dying if you can't shut her down. And thematically, an assassin shouldn't have a shield like Poppy, so idk why people are wanting her to be some glass cannon when she's decked out in armor and a huge shield and hammer.
Another thing, why do people hate Soraka's rework so much? It gave her the niche of a dedicated healer instead of the mess that she was before.
They probably can't deal with health cost on W and hate having to aim Q (and probably miss a lot, referencing the former). Ignoring, that E does a lot more than it used to...
As for Poppy, like someone said, anything is better than current kit. Kinda like with Sion before, but for very different reasons.
