I dislike her right now. Her main selling point was the burst she had, but that's no longer there. There's also the fact that she's incredibly squishy and dies to a breeze if counterganked. Although due to her passive, I would say she is still pretty decent in Solo, since its much less coordinated there.

Just like Kha'Zix she has been pretty much everything so they need to  figure out which one fits her best and push her in that direction.

 Yeah she really does need some early defensive items. Personally I go Warrior > Randuin's > TriForce / BotRK > tank items. It works alright-ish.

I've tried Cinderhulk Eve and it felt pretty decent. the only problem with it was that I felt that like I wasn't abusing her somewhat early strengths enough, since damage is the only thing she brings in ganks and if I was going Cinderhulk, I wasn't really doing enough damage.

I agree, on some champions like Eve and Kha'Zix, they really aren't sure of what they want them to be. Personally I want Evelynn to be more of an assassin, with stealth tied to a basic skill like before instead of her passive (which really seems to take up a huge part of her power budget), but then again she feels more like a fighter right now with good sustained damage and an ult that makes her pretty beefy.

I guess people were on a downer with her due to the base damage nerf from when she could go full tank with really high damage.

Then at the start of season 5 when camps did more damage and Ev lacking shields and heals took so much damage you couldn't pressure lanes which is really what Ev is about.

She has had some tweaks since her base damage nerf and jungle changes so probably worth another look, her % damage on her ult should be useful in the tank meta.

That Gauntlet build is interesting, with the Q spam you will be getting so many sheen procs and slows.  If you get fed early maybe sheen->TF and just try to flank and asassinate the enemy carries? I'm suprised that guide doesn't take spell weaving and blade weaving, should get full stacks near instantly with Q + E (and ult)

 Well even though tanky doesn't fit her character, it works well >.>

And yeah, I think she's probably one of the champions with the most variety of different builds used, ranging from full AP Assassin (with old old old DFG) to AD Bruiser to that weird burning Bruiser Eve build to full tank.

 One more thing that makes her so valuable is that she is one of the few champions that pretty much just forces the enemy to invest in at least 1 early Pink ward if they wanted to push safely. And due to her just being in game, it is actually possible to relieve her laners of some pressure from the opponent who wouldn't want to over-extend as much (although this is actually ironically more true in higher elo games compared to Bronze to low Gold ones, where people just over extend anyways).

Just played my first game of her since pre-season 5 and she feels better, not my usual style of champion as I prefer tanks but was fun!  Still need to buy a lot of health pots due to the lack of sustain or shields which kind of balances the extra gold the other team has to spend on pinks.

You are surprising tanky (temporarily) when you have resistances and hit your ult on multiple champions, whilst putting out lots of damage onto the squishies,  Even when they instantly focus you, due to the ult shield, resistances, Challenging Smite and Hex shield, you survive a long time.

was not one of the n1 rank korean jungler who played only evelynn and he builded 40%CDR  full tank and proceed to afk press Q +E and eternal MS boost,they cant escape,and they die faster than you do cause of your spammy nature.

also AP and AD builds both sucks,your dmg is so DPS oriented,you do shit in teamfights,master yi style, clean up potential? so lets sit and be an ult bot.
